Sealed tenders are invited from the reputed and registered transporters fortransportation of SAIL products from Chandigarh to various locations in HimachalPradesh for the period 1.10.2016 to 30.09.2017 ( extendable upon mutual consentfor one year) The details of terms & conditions along with tender form can bedownload from the HIMFED website i.e. http://www.himfed.com . The cost ofform in the shape of DD in favour of Managing Director Himfed Shimla-03 for Rs.500/ (Rupees Five hundred) only should be submitted along with the tender form.Last date of submission of tenders superscribed "Tender for Transportation" in theoffice of Managing Director Himfed, Near Victory Tunnel shimla-Ox is on27.09.2016 up to 11:30 AM and the tender will be opened on the same day at 12noon in the presence of the Tenderers.

TERMS & CONDITINS OF THE SHORT TENDR NOTICE FORRANSPORTATION OF SAIL PRODUCTS:-

Sealed tender are invited from the reputed and registered transporters totransport SAIL products from SAIL warehouse Chandigarh to various locations inHimachal Pradesh with the following conditions:-

1. The party shall have to lift SAIL products from SAIL CA Yard Chandigarhto various locations in Himachal Pradesh and will ensure safe delivery atright place to authorized representative of Himfed.

2. Himfed does not guarantee any fixed quantity to be transported.3. The transportation rates should be quoted PMT for each destination

inclusive of all taxes4. Tender without earnest money and conditional Tender shall not be accepted

in any cost.5. Managing Director/ Himfed Management Reserve the right to reject tenders

without assigning any reason thereof.6. The transporter shall have to lift & transport all consignment within 2 days

from date of issue of delivery order by SAIL.

7. The transporter should have a minimum 3 trucks in his own name of firmsi

name or in the name of partners of the firm's name. (Please submit selfattested photocopies of the RCs.)

8. The successful tenderers shall have to deposit a security amount of Rs.I

500001- Fifty Thousand in shape of F.D.R. duly pledged in favour ofHimfed which shall be released after satisfactory completion of the Job

9. The successful party shall have to enter in to an agreement with HIMFEDfor a period of one year i.e. 1.10.2016 to 1.09.2017 which can be extended'for further One year on mutual consent.

10.Income taxi service tax shall be deducted ,at source as applicable from timeto time.

11.The transporter shall be responsible for safe delivery of the consignment toconsignee. Any shortages during transit shall be responsibility of thetransporter and cost of the short delivered quantity shall be deducted fromthe transporter on prevailing price of the SAIL products.

12.The payments of the transporter will be released by the respective AreaManagersl In-charges Himfed, of the district with in 15days from the receiptof the bills duly accompanied by receipted GRs of the store keepers.

13.Dispute if any arising out of this agreement shall be referred to the RegistrarCooperative Societies Himachal Pradesh for adjudication under H.P.Cooperative Societies Act. 1968 and rules their under and his decisions shallbe final and binding on both parties.

14.The Himfed authorities reserve the right to relax any of the aboveconditions.

15.The earnest money of Rs. 10,000/- in cash or DD in favour of ManagingDirector Himfed payable at Shimla should be deposited alongwith the tenderform.
