In The Ruins of north America around the Appalachian mountains lies 12 districts (there used to be 13 until district 13 rebelled and was bombed by nuclear war heads many times) 2 tributes are selected

from each district to compete in the hunger games.

THE SETTING (FOR PART OF THE TIME)

Page 3: The Hunger Games

It was the day of the reaping, a day where most families rejoiced that their families lives will be spared at least another year. But two families

would lock their doors, shut their blinds and think of how to survive the painful weeks to come.

THE REAPING

Page 4: The Hunger Games

Primrose Everdeen and peeta Mellark are selected to compete in the hunger games but katniss everdeen volunteers to take her place in the hunger games,

A fight to the death with 24 tributes from all of the twelve districts, (two from each district) there will be knife throwing,

arrow shooting, and poison. This is a wonderful story of romance and violence.

SUMMARY

Page 5: The Hunger Games

Katniss Everdeen is a sixteen year old hunter who lives in district 12. In the book she volunteers to take place of prim (rose) in the hunger games. She enjoys trading her kills at the hob, a black market, and hunting with her friend gale.

Peeta is sixteen and lives in district 12. He is the son of the baker. (Pita is a type of bread) he is also madly in love with

He can also lift heavy and throw objects. His last defense was camouflage.

Overall all of us think that The Hunger Games is a brilliant read!

I mean who doesn't enjoy a big bloody battle to the death?

Other than the contestants.

It is a good book with a good plot.

It is truly enjoyable.

Who ever doesn't like this is insane by my standards.
