Is there something in today's world that made Suzanne Collins write this book?

•Some say that Suzanne Collins gathered ideas from Battle Royale by Koshun Takami. Other people says she wrote the Hunger Games from imagination and a pencil. The Battle Royale's story is of Junior High Schools Students who are forced to fight each other to the death. This book was rejected by publishers. This connects to the book because this is where she supposedly got her ideas from.

How does war affect all children in the hunger games?

•The war left some children in Panem, hungry, sad & scared. The districts in the country further away from the Capitol like districts 12, the have no food for their children. But the closer you are to the Capitol the more money you have the more food you have. So not all the children in the hunger games are struggling due to war.

Current conflicts in the hunger games.

•Younger readers of this journal may find themselves to have been exposed to war during their teen years. Much has been written on the subject in the last two decades- how war affects children, how it rehabilitates war affected- children (tertiary prevention) and how to make the experience of being in a war zone less damaging for children in war impels one to consider ways of removing the vector producing the suffering -war itself (primary prevention) while in previous essay in this series. I considered ways to prevent specific wars, here I will consider a broader issue of replacing our present war system with peace system.

•Back in 2009 the literary agent rosemary Stimola sat down to read "mocking jay" the third, highly anticipated Suzanne Collins. She came to the last chapter, in which firebombing kills thousands of civilians caught in a revolutionary war, including one heartbreaking innocent and beloved young character.
