The idea When the students plans a trip, we have lots

of information of mass tourism (Salou,

Benidorm, Terra Mítica ....), also great

deals, but we have not a joint offer of

alternative tourism destinations

(solidarity, ecotourism, agrotourism,

exchanges ...)

As we detect this need, we decided to

create this network in Armeria

cooperative nonprofit

Network horizontal solidarity trips

A group of teachers, students, and

travel promoters, believe that

travel is an essential part of

education, an irreplaceable way to

meet other people, other cultures

and environments

We realize that if we don´t organize this educational

activity, increase cultural and educational barriers

among youth

We therefore propose this project which combines

solidarity trips, ethical banking (solidarity funds),

environmental workshops, exchanges and solidarity

of all and for all

Who are we? We start with:

• Teachers from over 20 schools

• 6 destinations for rural tourism in Spain

• 3 Entities Responsible Tourism Forum

• The Social Market in Spain

• "Ecotur" Ecotourism portal

• "AES Briante"

• Cooperative Armeria in constitution

What do we want?

Present the project and invite

schools, tourism companies,

travel ONGDs alternative

networks as "social market" or

rural tourism portals

Create an alternative to travel and meet other

people. Gradually disposing of a national -

and international low cost alternative

destinations

Strengthen alternative tourism projects,

cooperative or family, local enterprises

environmental education and / or solidary

What do we do?

Specific objectives

Create a network of travel destinations serving schools

in other localities to ensure activities in line with the

principles of development and human rights

education, and environmental education

Methodology The project: solidarity trips, is opened and

participatory, "A common good." - As free

It will always be available to all companies,

groups, organizations and individuals
