Liketwospeedingtrainsheadingtowardthesamecollapsedbridge,thedangersandfailuresofBarackObamasforeign,economic,andsocialpoliciesareheadingrapidlytowardimplosion.Ourvitalsecurityinterests,oureconomicwellbeing,ourreligiousliberties,andtheveryfabricofAmericanfamilylifeareallatgraveriskofbecomingcasualtiesoftheextremeideologicalagendaandsimpleincompetenceofthecurrentAdministration.

First,withrespecttoforeignpolicy:WatchingthespreadofISISthroughouttheMiddleEastislikewatchingthegrowthofacancer.YetPresidentObamasayshestillhasnofullyformedstrategywithwhichtodealwithit.

Instead,hisfocushasbeenonIran,towhichendheisencouragingSenateapprovalofaplanthatwouldgiveIranthecontinuedcapacitytoproducenuclearweaponsincomingyears.

TheironyisthatIranistheepicenterofIslamicterrorism.Hezbollah,Hamas,AlQaeda,Shiitejihadism,thePopularFrontfortheLiberationofPalestine,andotherviolentMuslimextremistgroupsallfindabaseofsupportinTehran.TheideathattheUnitedStateswouldendorseaweakagreementwithapowerasdangerousasthisischilling.

CongressmustdemandanonnuclearIranbecauseanuclearIranisanexistentialthreattoIsraelandotherU.S.alliesintheMiddleEast.Ultimately,anIranwithnuclearweaponsisathreattoAmerica,aswell:Technologyissuchthatasmallnucleardevice,madeinIrananddistributedthroughitsterrornetwork,couldreachourshoresinsuitcase.

CompoundingthisisthatthereisNOevidencetheIranianregimehasmadeastrategicdecisiontogiveupthepursuitofnuclearweapons.Andtheregime'strackrecordontransparencyisnobetterthantheObamaAdministrations.PastexperiencemakesclearIrancannotbetrusted.

Additionally,IranisemblematicofmultiplefailuresinMr.Obamasforeignpolicy,fromVladimirPutinsrecentannouncementthatRussiawillbeginbuildingmorenuclearweaponstoChinasresurgence.InthewordsofrespectedforeignpolicyexpertLeslieGelb,theObamateamlacksthebasicinstinctsandjudgmentnecessarytoconductU.S.nationalsecuritypolicyinthenexttwoyears.

Onthedomesticfront,thingsarenobetter.WithrespectthePresidentsmostprizedeconomicpolicyachievement,theAffordableCareAct(Obamacare),millionsofAmericanshavefounditanythingbutaffordablewiththeirpremiumsrisinganaverageoftenpercent.

Now,Obamacareisheadedforaconstitutionalcollision.TheSupremeCourtisexpectedtoruleagainstthisadministrationinKingv.Burwell.Iftheadministrationloses,andthesubsidiesareruledunconstitutional,thiswillmakeObamacarefinanciallyunobtainableformillionsofhardpressedAmericans.AccordingtoastudybytheKaiserFamilyFoundation,premiumsinthe34statescurrentlyreceivingfederalObamacaresubsidieswouldseepremiumsriseby,minimally,132percent(Alaska)toashighas650percent(Mississippi).

ThedisruptioncausedbyObamacareslikelycollapsewillonlyaugmentthePresidentsfailuretoaddresstheimpendingcollapseofourentitlementsystemofSocialSecurity,Medicare,andMedicaid.Thenationsfiscalforecast,alreadyominouslyovercast,willbecomeoutrightstormyifactionisnottaken,thesoonerthebetter,toremedyourinescapableeconomicproblems.

ThentheresthePresidentsapparentlyhighestsocialpolicygoal,nationwidelegalizationofmarriagebetweentwosamegenderedpartners.IftheCourtendorsestheObamaagendaredefiningmarriagethesocialandreligiousfalloutwillbeimmense.ThedisintegrationoftheintactbiologicalfamilywillaccelerateandthereligiouslibertiesoftensofmillionsofAmericanswillbeplacedatrisk.AshisSolicitorGeneraladmittedduringAprilssamesexmarriagehearingbeforetheCourt,thetaxexemptstatusofchurchesandreligiouscollegeswillbeplacedatriskiftheydontaccommodatethemselvestoanewlyinventedconstitutionalrightforsamesexpartnerslegallytomarry.

Mr.ObamaissteepedinahardLeftideologysorigidthatheseemsimmunetothepoliticalrealitiescareeningtowardaverytroublingcollisionthatwillaffectallaspectsofAmericanlife,nowandintheyearstocome.
