However, parents and students are reminded that all students bringing a mobile phone to school must have them switched off and hand them into the front office for secure storage during the school day. If in the event you need to contact your child at school, please do so through the front office. Likewise if a student needs to urgently contact their parent or carer then they may do so through the office. MORNING PLAYGROUND We would like to remind you about morning playground procedures. All children, whether supervised by a parent or carer or not, need to remain under the front COLA (covered outdoor learning area) until the 9am bell. There is no teacher on duty on the back tar, near the Kindergarten classrooms, before school and seeing adults and children in this area encourages other children, often unsupervised, to gather and play there too. Please assist us by staying with your child/ren in the front playground between 8:30 and 9:00am. MONDAY MORNING FLAG RAISING ASSEMBLY The students in Years 1*6 have been doing a great job of assembling to sing our National Anthem and School Song on Monday mornings. Kindergarten students will join the rest of the school for these weekly assemblies in Term 2. Mrs Sharon Galway, Relieving Deputy Principal Term 1 Week 6 2015 Recent Events The Zone Swimming Carnival Last week, 15 of our talented students headed to Macquarie Fields Leisure Centre to represent Ingleburn Public School at the Zone Swimming Carnival. All students showed a remarkable amount of dedication, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day and achieved some fantastic results. A big congratulations to the following students who made the finals on Thursday night; Sarah, Jordan, Cooper, Mitchell, Kevin, Sophie and Cameron. It was great to see so many family members in the grandstand supporting the students. We are very excited to announce that two of our Year 6 girls have been successful in qualifying to compete at the Area Swimming Carnival to represent The Fields zone, well done to Jordan who will compete in the backstroke and Sarah who will compete in breaststroke and butterfly, a wonderful achievement and we wish you both the very best of luck.
