The Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown wants to make it easier for staff and students to access the college. The college is

therefore working with the National Transport Authority through the Smarter Travel Workplaces to help deliver sustainable transport options and to improve the health of staff and students. Smarter Travel Workplaces is supporting ITB to help deliver sustainable travel options including walking, cycling, public transport and car sharing.

Getting here by TrainCastleknock Railway Station is located

approximately 20 minutes walk away from the ITB. The station is located on the Dublin to Sligo railway line. During a weekday, 40 services per day stop at Castleknock Railway Station; the earliest train is at 05:46 and the last train is at 23:33. Access to Castleknock Railway Station is available by bicycle or using the 38 or URBUS buses.

Getting here by BicycleA variety of cycle lanes and tracks are located in proximity to the ITB. See the map overleaf for details. A monthly salary sacrifice scheme is also set up to allow you to pay for your bike monthly.
