1. CompanionThe flute is the real companion of lord Krishna and he carries with him everywhere. The melodious tunes of the flute entice people and make them stop mid way to listen to his divine music. The flute features seven holes and Krishna flows through it. Similarly, when we fight with seven deadly sins in our life, lord Krishna flow through us and help us attain salvation.

 

2. FriendshipHis divine friendship with Sudama is a true symbol of friendship. According to the tales in Hindu mythology, Sudama and Krishna were childhood friends and once during their journey in the forest, they both were hungry. However, sudama requested Krishna to finish off his food as well. Later, when sudama was facing poverty, he approached Krishna with grains of boiled rice. Lord Krishna happily ate the individual grains of rice and filled sudama’s house with wealth.

 

3. Childhood victoriesKrishna was a very mischievous as a child and has bravely ended life of his enemies. In one such incident when the demon Putna was sent to kill the baby Krishna, the lord is said to suck the life out of her to meet death.

 

4. Kans MamaThe most interesting act of the entire epic of Lord Krishna was his victorious fight with his maternal uncle kansa who was the prince of Mathura and brother of krishna’s mother Devaki. This fight started when a divine prophecy predicted that kansa would die at the hands of his sister’s eight child. After his born, Krishna was escaped from the eyes of kansa and taken to Gokul.

 

5. Innocence and MysticismLord Krishna was very popular for his mischievous behaviour in the village and was also known as makhan chor. Besides, Krishna also picked the heavy mountain to save the village from heavy rains. When he was small, his mother yashoda tied him with rope to prevent him from running away and troubling his fellow villagers.

8. Love struck LadiesRadha Krishna is a symbol of love and people still worship them. Many artists have depicted their art with Radha and Krishna. His soothing personality and calm nature attracted many women and also fell in love with him. However, Krishna never married Radha.
