ToimproveECECservices:Tohelpcountriesimprovetheperformanceoftheirsystems,toprovidebeDeroutcomesforci%zensandbeDervalueformoney.Compara%vedatacanshowwhichsystemsareperformingbest,inwhatdomainsandforwhichgroupsofstudents.Itwouldalsoprovideinsightsonhowsuchperformancehasbeenachieved.Thus,interna%onallycomparabledatawouldenablecountriestocomparetherela%vestrengthsandareasfordevelopmentintheirownECECsystemswiththoseinotherjurisdic%ons(OECD,2016)
