• The Copper Strategy identified the potential benefits of the
International Copper Technology & Research Hub
• Concept Report published in July 2016 recommended the
establishment of a Hub Steering Committee, generation of a
Copper Development Road Map and preliminary business
plan
• Steering Committee comprises representatives from industry,
academia and Government
• Road Map Workshop held in February 2017 with 80 delegates
• Workshop considered possible Road Map themes and a
number of potential programs for the Hub
• Following further consultation 12 program areas were
identified for the Road Map
