The International Symposium of Quantum Beam Science at Ibaraki University 18 Nov.-20 Nov., 2016 Hotel Terrace the Garden Mito Ibaraki University, Mito Campus The new “Institute of Quantum Beam Science” was established in the Graduate School of Science and Engineering of Ibaraki University on April-2016. The Institute of Quantum Beam Science has been recognized as a quite unique educational organization closely related with a research and engineering area based on the facilities providing particle and light beams. The institute is associated with strong collaborations with Japan Proton Accelerator Complex (J-PARC), Japan Atomic Energy Agency, Ibaraki Quantum Beam Science Research Center, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science & Technology, National Institute of Radiological Science, High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK), and etc. On these backgrounds, the International Symposium of Quantum Beam Science at Ibaraki University is going to be held on at Mito campus of Ibaraki University. The purpose of the symposium is mainly intended for exchanging current scientific topics based on recent status of the worldwide facilities between researchers in different fields of biology, chemistry, and physics regarding with Quantum Beam Science.
