Changing your Default Home Page
• Go to the menu bar and select Tools
• Drop down and select Internet Options
• You will see this page:

• Type in the homepage you choose into the address bar, highlighted in yellow
• Your homepage can be any web page out there.
• If you change your mind you can come back and change it again.

• Once you have typed in the URL, click Apply, and then OK

Scroll Bar• The areas highlighted in yellow
are scroll bars:

• To scroll up and down, click and drag on the slider.
Hyperlinks• A hyperlink is either a URL, a
word or set of words, usually underlined and in a contrasting color from the rest of the text. Ex. Click Here
• When you click on a link you are connected to another website.
• You can return to where you were by using the back button.

What is a URL?• URL stands for Uniform
Resource Locator • A URL is also called a web
address. • If you know the web address,
you can re-frequent any page you find on the Internet.

This indicates a page on the World Wide Web. (Sometimes "www" is missing.)
