Chahj’s ClimateLocated at 38N and 32E Chahj is located between Italy and
Greece in the Mediterranean Sea. It is in the area known as the Ionian Sea, and so the climate is hot, dry, and humid. Chahj is not affected by any currents because the Mediterranean sea is an inland sea. Chahj never experiences much rain. Chahj does, however, receive snow (once in a blue moon).
The average rainfall is 66 centimeters of rain every year. That is a very small amount. Chahj’s average temperature is 17 degrees Celsius. Summers are generally blazing hot, and winters are generally mild. Chahj has a huge extinct volcano that towers over everything. Mount Grailyteece (the volcano) is really tall because all the mountains in the surrounding region are tall, so why should Mount Grailyteece be any different? It makes temperatures on the other side of it cooler/hotter because hot air (or cold air) that hits it rebounds off the side, so half of Chahj is always hotter than the other half.

Chahj imports machinery, transport equipment, fuels, and chemicals. Chahj exports food and beverages, manufactured goods, petroleum products, chemicals, and textiles. Chahj’s main trading partners are Germany, Italy, UK, Bulgaria, U.S., Cyprus, Turkey, France, Netherlands, Russia, and South Korea.
Climate Concerns
Although Mount Grailyteece is an extinct volcano, it still spews environmentally harmful chemicals from its many side vents.
Changes in Land Use Over TimeWhen Chahj was first discovered I the year 1871, it was
completely covered in forest. Over the years, Chahj’s residents turned Chahj into a peaceful forest island. The people began to farm and grow crops. Most of the people made their own food and drink while some people bought crops from others. However, now most people buy food from the now rich farm families. Chahj’s land is also used for recreational purposes (recreation used to be impossible, as everyone had to work).
The Affect on the Environment that the People have
Chahj has a big problem: The extinct volcano in the middle of Chahj has been spewing smoke, gaseous oil, and other environmentally harmful gases ever since Sir Chingnook Cantarcoke accidentally shot a gunpowder filled cannonball into it while trying to blow up a huge amount of Italian Warships. However, Chahj’s residents have learned to teleport the gases with their teleporters and use the gas for environmentally friendly uses.
