Conclusions

● Make vs buy:

− Petcoke gasification (make) beats LNG import (buy) in India/Asia

● “Bottomless” refinery:

− Zero petcoke, lowest price refinery product

− Superior refinery margins

● Utilities:

− Repower captive cogen power plant with syngas

− Recover H2 from syngas, for refinery clean fuels

− Utilize SNG + syngas as process heater fuel

− Minimize refinery opex

● Petchem:

− Recover C2 + C2= for petchem feed with SNG substitution in RFG

− Supply utilities to new petchem projects
