The meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm at the home of Rick Watts.

Motion made to approve the meeting notes from the December 2009 Meeting. This motion seconded. All were in favor so it carried.

Membership: Total Membership for 2009 was 140 members with income totaling $11,475.00.

Park: All is well at the Park.

Pier: Brian reported that he expects to have estimates for the Pier repairs for the February Meeting. He will be forming a neighborhood work party this spring. Anyone interested should give Brian a call. Thank you to Mr. Leigh for installing the ice eaters at the pier. There was a charge of $173.00 for minor repairs to the ice eaters. Brian also said that the following issues are under investigation for repairs and/or replacement: the shed, water conditioning system and the boat ramp.

Beach: Thank you to Mr. Leigh for installing the ice eaters. A new plug and wire were purchased to repair the ice eaters at a cost of $107.00. It has been suggested that a new ladder be bought for the swim platform for the coming season. Minor repairs to the benches and tables will be made this spring.

Roads and Zoning: The board received one request for an additional shed and a small fence at 420 Park Creek Road. The Board approved the shed.

Welcome: No Report.

Greater Pasadena Council: Robin Sayler reported the GPC Meetings scheduled for 2010 as follows: January 21, February 25, March 25, April 22, May 27, June 24, July - No Meeting, August - No Meeting, September 23, October 21, November - No Meeting & December 2. Meetings will be held at the Eastern District Police Department on Mountain Road at 7:30 PM. Addresses for Association Members can be obtained from Robin.

Entertainment: No Report.

Garden Club Report: Tickets are on sale for this year’s Valentine’s Dance. Call Sarah Ann Parsons or Rae Regula for tickets and information. The Board agreed to subsidize the Garden Club for up to $10 over the $35 charge for the dance, so that it is more affordable for everyone and will encourage everyone to attend.  Also, that it was agreed to have a carving station and heavy hors d'oeuvres for the meal. 

New Business: The Annual Board Meeting will be held in February. The following positions are open: Vice President, Membership, and Entertainment. Denise Larbig has volunteered for the position of President. The Board has recommended that there be a Committee of three to four volunteers for the position of Entertainment. Any nominees or volunteers are requested to call Rick Scruggs.

Old Business: Revisions and updates are still being made to the Porthole. Anyone with additional changes, please give Fran Kuhne a call.

The next board meeting will be the Annual Meeting. This year’s meeting will be held at the Pasadena Library, February 2nd, 2010 at 7:00 PM. All are welcomed.

Motion made to adjourn at 9:30 PM, seconded and all were in favor.

Please check your pier, get your traps out, and get them ready for next season. Unattended traps kill numerous animals by drowning. Also, each pier is allowed only 2 crab traps.
