The journey to become one of the UK’s next 100 game changing female leaders.
For more than a decade, Sarah Lloyd-Hughes and her award winning team of
Ginger trainers have been teaching speakers to inspire audiences. And we’ve
found that women tend to be the very best speakers.
In comparison to their male peers, women are more emotionally resonant, they’re
great observers of the details that bring talks alive, they work damn hard to
improve and they’re great at creating trust through sharing their vulnerabilities.
And yet the number of women in visible leadership positions are still crazily low.
Women are just 32% of our MPs, 20% of senior managers and a mere 11%
of after dinner speakers. So, we’re on a mission to empower women’s voices.
Bringing together emerging female top talent and visionaries from corporate,
entrepreneurial and third sector backgrounds, The Leader’s Voice Programme
aims to empower 100 new leading female voices.
Here’s how…

“The speech coaches on the Leader’s Voice programme were excellent. I feel proud of the progress I’ve made over the course of the programme in developing my storytelling and presentation skills.”

About you:
Busy Leaders battling overwhelm
• The Leader’s Voice helps you to do less and instead mobilise others to carry your vision.
Complex messages that are poorly understood by team mates, clients, the public:
• We’ll help you to distill your ideas into clear, simple messages that resonate with your
stakeholders.
Stuck in a mid career plateau:
• If you’re already senior, but are now ready to take the next step up to influence on
a much bigger level; e.g. you currently influence tens of people (colleagues, clients,
stakeholders) and are ready to influence hundreds or thousands, the Leader’s Voice will
help you get clarity and energy around the next stage of your leadership.
Lacking visibility or the structures to radically impact
• You have a passion, mission or vision that you care deeply about, but it doesn’t have
buy-in from those who matter. We reignite your revolutionary spirit and give you the
support and skills to make things happen.
You’re driven to create positive change, but find blockages that are preventing you from having a full impact. Here are some of the scenarios that the Leader’s Voice focuses on solving:

The Leader’s Voice is, simply put, the voice our leaders need to develop to create much needed change in our world.
Leaders are operating in a rapidly changing, volatile environment. Trust in
most institutions is falling as social, economic and environmental challenges
are increasing.
We urgently need a different kind of leadership that’s authentic, brave and
visionary.
These five themes are the qualities The Leader’s Voice programme creates in its
participants.
You bring your vision, your personality and your bravery – and we’ll sharpen
up your language, your presence and your resilience.
You’ll leave the programme equipped with the confidence and the practical
tools to make change happen.
About The Leader’s Voice

“I’ve learnt so many things, not just about public speaking, but about myself. I’ve really thought about what I want and what causes I really care about. I truly think it’s a life changing experience... and a really fun one as well.
The thing I’m most proud of, was going to Speaker’s Corner in gale force winds and the pouring rain and standing on a very wobbly step ladder and actually speaking in front of hecklers for more than 20 minutes. It was great to be heckled - it helped us all strengthen our arguments because we knew what the challenges would be.”
