DAY : Thursday. VENUE : Our School Auditorium. TIME/PERIOD : 9.AM. TO 11 AM. INTER-SCHOOL/INTER-HOUSE/INTER- CLASS/GROUP/ INDIVIDUAL : Group. ORGANIZED BY : The Junior School Staff. (For inter-school competitions and Outside school activities) : CLASS/CLASSES INVOLVED : Nursery, Pre-primary and classes 1 to 5 NAMES OF PARTICIPANTS : A BRIEF REPORT. The Annual Pre-Primary school concert was held on the 27 th of September , 2012 at 9 :30 am in the school auditorium of The Bishop’s Co-ed school Kln. The chief guest was one of our Board ,members Mrs. Lily White. The concert featured ‘The Nursery land’ based on the nursery rhymes like Hickory Dickory Dock and ended with the rhyme wee Willie Winkie, which was followed by the Grand Finale. The concert was presented by the little ones from Nursery and L.K.G. The students of LKG & UKG enthralled the audience with their sweet voice. The audience were eagerly waiting to catch the glimpse of their children and their commendable performance on stage. The wonderful music and well- designed costume, make-up and props were very impressive. The next event was The Little Mermaid staged in the school auditorium performed by the students of UKG, Class 1 and Class 2. The play was based on The Little Mermaid. The main characters enacted the tale. The melodious choir and the wonderful dancers were appreciated by everyone. The Annual Concert is one of the most awaited event of the academic year of every school. At The Bishop’s Co-Ed School Kalyaninagar this event is a celebration of colour, sound and talent. The Junior School from Class III, IV and V proudly presented the classic Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory based on the novel by Roald Dahl. The concert involved a lot of planning and selection from the cast to the props. everyone put their minds ticking together to make the concert nostalgic for all. The budding talents actors seemed to have got to the skin of the character. All the teachers were striving endlessly to bring out the best in each

individual. The props brought imagination to reality. The play was straight and simple to reach

everyone yet sophisticated to mark up to the esteemed standard of the school. The concert was a

delightful treat for the eye. It was truly amazing to see a cast of three hundred and fifty students

perform to perfection.

All this would not have been possible without the constant support and guidance of our beloved

Headmistress, Mrs. V. Freese, our ever motivating and patient Asst to the Headmistress,

Mrs. C. Dunn and the most admirable director of the play Mrs. B. Route.
