THE LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR!
Age: 17
Career choice: a Senator / Professional Marketer
Experiences in Key Club:
2010-2011 President of Grant Key Club (PNW District)
2009-2010 Vice President of Mona High Key Club (Jamaica District)
2008-2009 K-Family Committee Chair of Mona High Key Club (Jamaica District)
Hobbies: Being crazy, watching Glee, reading Twilight & Harry Potter books, watching
movies, yoga, volunteering, Key Club and spending time with Dylan.
Favorite Musicians: Glee, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Florence & the Machine, Imogen
Heap, Madonna, Linkin Park, Paramore, Evanescence, Michael Jackson etc.
People who inspire me: Harvey Milk, Bayard Rustin, Kiwanians, Key Clubbers, Barack
Obama, my grand-parents, my aunt Carmen, and an extremely important person in
my life, Dylan Gattey.
My greatest life accomplishment: My greatest accomplishment was learning to
accept myself for the unique and extra-ordinary individual I am. To love every quality I
bear, and accept the fact that I am different from many others.
I realized how beautiful of a person I am on the inside, so why keep it to myself?
What are my plans & goals for Division 60/62? : My plan for the division is to turn the pages of
our history, and create a more progressive, productive and sustainable division. In our
division, our clubs are divided and we don„t work together as we should. As a result, clubs are
constantly weakening, failing and slowly going out of existence. We need to put an end to
this in our division!
My plan is to bring the division together and allow clubs to co-exist. Some clubs are
progressing faster than others, while some clubs are less developed than others. But this will
change. I will spend time to bring our club leaders together, assist them with their duties and
give our division the opportunity to work as one.

IT GETS BETTER!
Life may seem really hard and unbearable if you’re
gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. And at times
you may feel the need to do something harmful and
very regretful to yourselves. But I have one simple
advice for you….
I love you far too much for you to go and take your life.
And if you have any difficulties, and you need
someone to talk to, talk to me! I’ve been through it all.
There’s going to be a day when you’ll see all that life
has to offer, and you should be there to see it!
