What is Workload Automation?
Job Schedulers or Batch Processing Software traditionally submits workloads on date and time dependencies.
Workload Automation or WLA is an evolution of these schedulers. WLA coordinates a varied set of workload types with complex dependencies across a broad spectrum of operating systems and application platforms. - WLA provides real-time workloads at the same
time taking in consideration Date and Time SLAs Critical path analysis Possible future issues

Large Scale Cloud Service is initiated through the Control-M portal – alongside non-cloud batch jobs
App request is initiated in CLM through the CLM APIs
App is defined as a service blueprint with an understanding of its batch processing requirements
The Service Governor takes capacity information and the App Service Blueprint and provisions it locally – or to the public cloud
Control-M gains control of the workload, and orchestrates the batch processing on schedule
When additional resources are required, Control-M integrates with the CLM APIs to scale the environment
After the batch is complete, Control-M de-provisions the resources through the CLM APIs
Control-M and CLM work together to enable large scale batch processing in the cloud
