Hello
I am writing this email to you as you previously expressed interest in getting involved with an Amnesty group in Queanbeyan, or asked to be kept informed of Amnesty activities in Queanbeyan.
To aid this I will be holding a meeting on Thursday, June 5, at 5:30pm. The meeting will be held in the Casuarina room at the RB Smith Community Centre, 262 Crawford Street Queanbeyan.
I envisage the meeting will go for approximately an hour. At the meeting I will detail the next stage of the refugee campaign to coincide with Refugee Week in June, as well as generally outline how Amnesty local groups work and answer any of your questions.
Please let me know if you will be attending. If you cannot attend this meeting but would like to be informed about the group also please let me know.
And feel free to pass this onto any people you think may be interested.

We’ve been nominated to participate in the Grill’d Local Matters donation program at Grill'd Manuka for the month of May 2014 Every month, Grill’d donates $500 to local groups and asks their customers to decide who the money goes to. When customers buy a burger, they will receive a token to put into one of 3 jars representing different groups. Whoever has the most tokens at the end of the month receives $300.
