KRISTAL AquaGreen WB KRISTAL AquaGreen WB is the waterborne basecoat color system of Kristal Coatings. With a range of 64 tinters and 1 thinner KRISTAL AquaGreen WB has complying formulation in excess of 50.000+ colors, together with an updated color mixing software for excellent matching. KRISTAL AquaGreen WB is divided in the following subcategories.

Solid colors are manufactured by employing the latest technology which provides high chroma from pigments, maximises color fastness & durability, and ensures a deep lustrous color base.

Metallics give exacting color matches to modern effect paint finishes through the design of their tiny silver bronze & gold metallic platelets.

Pearlescents are specially designed to maximise the shimmering effects of light refraction. The full pearlescent effect comes shining through from unrefracted light depending on the angle it strikes the surface.

Xirallics are the latest developments in extreme color intensiveness. They include tiny aluminium flakes which enhance the brilliant colors with a sparkling glitter finish.

KRISTAL AquaGreen KRISTAL AquaGreen is the waterborne product range of Kristal Coatings. An innovative, environmentally friendly and latest range of Kristal Coatings. KRISTAL AquaGreen offers products with excellent premium quality and curing properties, which even can be compared to solvent-based products. Without saying the products of KRISTAL AquaGreen are VOC compliant according the latest directive. KRISTAL AquaGreen is environmentally friendly and health conscious towards end-users.

KRISTAL AquaGreen Clear

KRISTAL AquaGreen Clear is the waterborne and latest Clear Coat developed by Kristal Coatings. KRISTAL AquaGreen Clear needs to be cured for 30 minutes at 60°C, which is fast for waterborne and comparable to solvent-based Clear Coats. KRISTAL AquaGreen Clear contains very little solvents and therefore a low VOC value, KRISTAL AquaGreen Clear contains <200 g/L. VOC. Also due the low VOC value only a little part of the product evaporates and creates a higher coverage per m² together with a higher durability of the Clear Coat. KRISTAL AquaGreen Clear has a durability of 8-10 years.

KRISTAL AquaGreen Clear has been selected by Messe Frankfurt as top 25 product for the Automechanika Green Directory 2012.

KRISTAL AquaGreen Surfacer

KRISTAL AquaGreen Surfacer is the waterborne and latest Surfacer developed by Kristal Coatings. KRISTAL AquaGreen Surfacer fully cures at 60°C with a cycle of 30 minutes. KRISTAL AquaGreen has a very low VOC level, it contains <200 g/L. VOC. KRISTAL AquaGreen has excellent sandability together with high filling properties. Without saying KRISTAL AquaGreen Surfacer complies with the KRISTAL AquaGreen WB basecoat serie.

KRISTAL TIME The KRISTAL TIME product range is the most innovative product line of Kristal Coatings. The name “TIME” says it all, the main focus is time (-saving) and cost saving without any concessions to the quality of the product. All the products of KRISTAL TIME fully cure at only 20°C. Although the low curing temperature KRISTAL TIME still has fast drying properties.

The KRISTAL TIME technology is also awarded with the prestigious Automechanika Innovation Award 2010.

KRISTAL Universal TimeClear

As the name suggests, this air-drying products can be used universal – for small to large spray jobs. KRISTAL Universal TimeClear fully cures at only 20°C. For urgent spray jobs this clear coat obviously can be cured with infra-red or by heating the spray booth. The application of KRISTAL Universal TimeClear is equal to conventional clear coats. KRISTAL Universal TimeClear is an improvement of the current assortment, with the knowledge gained in recent years, we now offer an even easier to use product. The end-result is also improved - KRISTAL Universal TimeClear has a higher gloss finish. We also have address the aspect of curing with KRISTAL Universal TimeClear, the drying process is greatly improved under all circumstances. With 20°C you can assemble the car after 2,5 hours. In addition, KRISTAL Universal TimeClear has a lower product usage. KRISTAL Universal TimeClear is available in a 4 liter packaging, the corresponding hardener and additive are available in 1 liter packaging. With the mixing ratio being 4:1:1 you are able to offer your customer a complete package of 6 liter. KRISTAL TimeSurfacer

KRISTAL TimeSurfacer is the air-curing Primer-Surfacer of the KRISTAL TIME product range. Although the fast curing times of KRISTAL TimeSurfacer, the needed layer thickness of 100-120 µm can be achieved with only 2 layers. A flash-off of 3-4 minutes is needed for KRISTAL TimeSurfacer. Furthermore KRISTAL TimeSurfacer is applicable from 1 panel up to 5 panels. After 10 minutes KRISTAL TimeSurfacer is dust-dry at 120 µm. Even with the fast drying times, KRISTAL TimeSurfacer has a potlife of 2 hours.

Together with the low VOC contents of the products, it is also an environment conscious product line. The products within the KRISTAL eXcellent UHS range are high-quality Ultra High Solid products. The products are innovative and renewing, with the KRISTAL UHS Clear Coat 93 (9310) we were one of the first coating manufacturers worldwide to introduce an 1-layer Clear Coat.

KRISTAL UHS Clear Coat 93

KRISTAL UHS Clear Coat 93 is an Ultra High Solid Clear Coat with which an 1-layer application is sufficient to achieve the required layer thickness. Together with a VOC value of max. 418 g/L, KRISTAL UHS Clear Coat 93 is VOC compliant according the latest EU directive 2004/42/EC. Furthermore this Clear Coat has a easy application method which results in a outstanding gloss level of premium quality. Kristal Coatings offers also Semi-Gloss and Matt variants of this Clear Coat. KRISTAL UHS Surfacer 53 is a high-filling, excellent sandable 2-pack Ultra High Solid Primer-Surfacer. As to our philosophy KRISTAL UHS Surfacer 53 is easy-to-use, besides regular application this Surfacer can be also be sprayed wet-in-wet. KRISTAL UHS Surfacer 53 is available in 4 different colours, being Black, Dark Grey, Grey and White. Furthermore this Surfacer is VOC Compliant according EU directive 2004/42/EC. KRISTAL 2K Drying Booster is a super fast thinner that is developed for a faster drying a curing for all Clear Coats and Surfacers within the the KRISTAL eXcellent UHS and KRISTAL PLUS HS product ranges. KRISTAL PLUS HS The KRISTAL PLUS HS product line is an assortment of conventional products. The KRISTAL HS Clear Coat 92 PLUS is an ‘standard’ product, all coating manufacturers offer a similar HS product. The products are very easy to use, the sprayer can not go wrong with PLUS. The products within the KRISTAL PLUS HS product line are high-quality High Solid products. This product line is price-technical more advantageous compared to the KRISTAL eXcellent UHS-line, the products are still high-quality and easy to use. The KRISTAL PLUS HS product line also consists out of a 50°C Hardener, with this Hardener the spray booth does not has to heath to the usual 60°C, herewith are also energy costs saved. Furthermore the KRISTAL PLUS HS product line consists out various Degreasers, both solvent-based as waterborne, a Spot Repair Thinner, an excellent Epoxy Primer-Surfacer, Washprimer CR and offers a Plastic Adhesive Primer. KRISTAL HS Clear Coat 92 PLUS is a conventional high-quality, non-yellowing High Solid Clear Coat which is very easy to use. You can not go wrong with this Clear Coat. The easy application is through 2 layers which results in a premium quality gloss together with a high chemical resistance.
