Alexis is the product of small town Northwestern Minnesota where baiting a hook and building tree forts are essential survival skills. A degree in Communication Studies from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities has deepened her interest in all things people and communication. She appreciates a good pair of fluorescent Nike running shoes, a well-worn Bible and loud laughter. Recently, she’s been really into bak-ing pies after gifting her dad at Christmas a 12 month subscription to Pies By Alexis where she bakes a different pie once a month for Gary. It’s all part of a greater effort to feel more confident in the kitchen and in bringing a dish to those famously Midwestern potlucks. She spends the rest of her time enjoying the company of friends, family, yearning for a Great Dane and convincing anyone who will listen that Far-go is actually pretty darn fantastic. Education: B.A., Communication Studies, University of Minnesota – Twin Cities Volunteer & Professional Activities: Young Life leader
