Use this handy chart to help determine the proper ramp length for you. Please follow these steps:

1. Measure the total vertical height you will need to climb (in inches).

- For stairs, measure each stair and add them together- For Vans, measure from the ground straight up to the highest point inside the van you will need to reach.- For other applications, like porches, measure from the ground straight up to the highest point you will need to reach.

2. Using number of inches you determined in step 2, find that number of inches you need to climb on the right side of the chart.3. Follow the row across to the left. As you follow across, any column with numbers in it indicates that a ramp may* be used at that height. The numbers in the chart indicate the approximate angle of wheelchair ramp slope at that height.4. Follow the appropriate column to the bottom and see the corresponding ramp length.5. Consult the user manual that came with your wheelchair or scooter to determine any slope (angle) restrictions that may apply and select a ramp that meets those requirements. Never use a handicap ramp that exceeds the ramp slope requirements of your chair/scooter.

General Guidlines for Ramp Use:• Never exceed your equip-

ment’s recommendations. • Generally, it is best to stay un-

der 10 degrees. • 11-13 degrees maximum for

pushing a patient up in the chair.

• 15 degrees maximum for walk-ing behind & pushing up an empty chair.

• 17 degrees maximum for load-ing an empty chair from beside the ramp.

• The longer the ramp is, the easier it is to use.

Shipping Time:We normally have all items in stock. Most orders ship the same day as ordered. Standard delivery time is 3-5 busi-ness days with the free shipping. We do offer priority shipping option through our web site or telephone ordering. Priority shipping delivery time is 2-3 business days. Free shipping does not included shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. Please call for Alaskan or Hawaiian shipping charges. Business days are any days that UPS delivers standard ground packages and excludes, weekends, holidays, UPS holidays and extreme weather conditions.
