BULLETIN
RAY’S REMARKS:
What a wonderful week we have had in the study of God’s Word. Thanks to all of you who have attended this year’s BIM Lectureship. This year we have had a lot of visitors with us for the lectureship. Many congregations from the area were represented this year in supporting our lectureship. It was a great encouragement to have so many brothers and sisters join us for this opportunity to hear and study God’s great biblical truths.
At this year’s lectureship, we have been blessed to have several of our former graduates, as well as our faculty, present God’s Word. We also were able to hear brother Cory Orr preach Sunday night, he will be graduating soon and beginning his new work at Bona. Everyone has done a great job in presenting God’s Will and it has been a blessing to grow together in God’s Word. Thanks for helping to make this year’s lectureship a success.
We were also blessed to have some of our speakers join us at the school to speak to our students in Chapel. I know they were all encouraged and I know we have all been encouraged by this week of service. How blessed we are as God’s people to have such opportunities and privileges to grow as Christians.
Well, we are already over half way through May. As a family of God we have several more activities coming up in the near future. Let’s remember our Agape meal this Sunday. Also the BIM graduation will be on June 4th. Our Happy Hollow Camp session will be June 11-16. And as well, we have scheduled Agape gatherings and the Men’s Breakfast in June. I hope you will all avail yourselves of these many opportunities to grow, to encourage and to serve God as a Christian.
I would also remind you that Dad and Mom will be headed to Africa around mid-June. They will visit all three of our preachers’ schools this summer. First, they will go to Zambia, then Uganda, and finally to Ghana. Let’s begin praying for them, their health and their success as they prepare for this important work of God. How blessed we all are to be a part of so many great works in the Kingdom of God.
Well, I hope to see you all tonight at the last night of our Lectureship. I know it is going to be another great night as we close out this week of study. Also, let’s remember that we will all be privileged to gather for Worship this coming Sunday. Won’t you take advantage of this and all these opportunities to put God first and to Worship your Creator! God bless!

ELDERS’ CORNER:
Greetings from the elders at Kansas Expwy:
Hope everyone is having a good week so
far. The B.I.M. lectureship is going great! We
have had 7 good lessons from past students, a
current student, and the faculty from the BIM.
The attendance has been good, with many being
there every lesson. We have had a lot of visitors
from the area congregations. Brother Chris
Gardner and his family have come here from
Michigan. Tonight will end the Lectureship of
2017 with brother Scott Marriott and Jerry
Sullins speaking. Be sure to come tonight for
two more good lessons from the word of God.
Remember all of those who are having
difficulty with their health. Pray especially now
for sisters Pat and Reva and brother Leon as
they are recovering at home.
Thanks to all who have silenced their cell
phones. The worship seems so good not having
them going off in our services. Please continue
to be diligent about turning them off.
See all on Sunday.

Ron Gilbert
Over 25 years ago, I met a good brother who
was just beginning to get involved in missions in
Africa. Throughout the years brother Ron has
been a close friend and co-worker in the
Kingdom of God in Africa. I just learned this
week that he has developed a dreaded disease
called Guillain-Barre syndrome. The disease
affects the nervous system and at this time he
has lost his ability to walk and can barely lift his
arms. He and his family need our prayers. At
this time, he is in Vanderbilt Hospital in
Nashville, Tennessee undergoing treatment and
hopefully rehab is in the future. The disease can
be fatal. May God bless him with the healing of
his body so he can continue to do the great work
he is doing all over the world.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THANK YOU:
Our Dearest K.E. family,
This year isn’t even halfway through, yet we’ve faced
many difficult things, and many great blessings, too.
You all, our family, have been such a blessing! Thank
you all for reaching out by note or in person when my
Grandfather passed away in January and when
James’s Grammy recently passed away as well. Also,
the support, concern and encouragement we’ve
received with Samuel’s ITP diagnosis has been
incredible. We appreciate you, and thank you from
the depths of our hearts.
Love, the Cartwrights
