ADDRESS SERVICE REQUESTED JAN. 22, 2012 BULLETIN RAY’S REMARKS: God continues to bless His people at Kansas Expressway. We had a great weekend in worship to God with a good number present. Furthermore, we were blessed with the great news concerning Cindy Gann. Praise be to God that her test came back clean and that she remains cancer free. Please continue to remember her and others in prayer who are recovering from and dealing with cancer. We also have others who are struggling with other health issues. Our sister Retha Beebe went in the hospital Tuesday with some blockage in her leg. There are others on our prayer list as well who are dealing with different health issues, please remember them before God’s throne. Also, we still need to keep Mildred Carroll in our prayers, as well as others of our shut-ins who have special needs. Prayer is a powerful thing! I also wanted to encourage everyone to remember brother Seth Hass in your prayers. He responded Sunday asking for encouragement to do a better job in reaching out with the gospel of Christ. No doubt something we all need to do more of. Let me also remind you about an announcement brother Gary made this past Sunday concerning our 5 th Sunday contribution. The television program has done a great job for many years now. We continue to reach out to over 5000 people every week with the program (that averages out to a cost of only 17 cents per person). We also have weekly responses for requests for materials and Bible Correspondence Courses. We have around 3-5 calls and receive between 15-20 visits to our website each week. In what other way do we reach out to non-Christians and are we able to enter their homes to teach the pure Word of God? Brother Gary also mentioned that we receive over $2800.00 a month from congregations and individuals to help support the program. That is a lot and show a lot of support for the program in our area. The congregation at K.E. only covers 1/4 of the overall cost of the program. At this time, we need to help cover the cost of a new song taping and we also need to cover some of the production costs from last year. So won’t you try to set aside a little extra on the 5 th Sunday. Everything over our budget will go directly to the Living Word Program. Keep this good work of God in your prayers. Well I look forward to seeing you all in services this coming Lord’s Day. Until then, always put God first in all things, and you will never regret it. God bless! *Ray Sullins*

“Words Are Windows To The Heart”

I have to live with myself and so,I want to be fit for myself to know.

I want to be able as days go by,Always to look myself straight in the eye.I don’t want to stand with the setting sun,And hate myself for the things I’ve done.

I never can hide myself from me,I see what others may never see--

I know what others may never know,I never can fool myself and so,

Whatever happens, I want to be,Self-respecting and conscience free.
