    Legendary Musician Robby

    Armstrong and his band rocked

    the crowd at Eisenhower Park

with incredible sounds recently as an

overflow crowd of more than 1,000,

danced, sang along, clapped and had a

    fabulous time throughout the park,

pier and sidewalks. He was part of a

    fantastic free concert series (see

    schedule below).

    Armstrong began by toasting,

along with the joyous crowd, this very

special city that's nearing its Centennial (in

5 years). The pulsating musical happening

was reminiscent of the bands that played

near here on the boardwalk and beach asthousands of visitors had the times of their

lives in the beautiful village in the second

    decade of last century.

    Behind the wild band, which

    featured several great musicians like

Jeremey Long on keyboard & guitar,

concertgoers enjoyed the view of crashing

surf and boats in the friendly place that was

once home to the legenday "Bell Sisters,"

who had international hits like "Bermuda"

and "Wheel of Fortune" in the 1950s.

If you haven't heard Robby and his

band play, you need to. Go to

    myspace.com/robbyarmstrongband. I

loved their pulsating rhythm and choice in

    Music--from old to new.

Many Thanks to the spectacular Seal

Beach Chamber Of Commerce & Don the

    Beachcomber for sponsoring the

memorable concert. There are other cool

concerts scheduled that you should check

out. They all take place on Wednesdays

from 6pm to 8pm at Eisenhower Park, next

to the pier, in Seal Beach (Ocean at Main).

    There's also a great vendor's village where

you can purchase food, products and

    various services.

    If you are among

    the thousands of

    fans who enjoy

    eating Rubys

    d e l i c i o u s

    hamburgers and

    crispy french fries to

    the backdrop of the

    Pacific Blue, you

    can enjoy a hot meal

at affordable prices on piers in Seal Beach,

    Huntington Beach, Oceanside, Newport

    Beach and Malibu.

They are but several of over 50

themed U.S. diners with red vinyl booths,

    red and white stiped dress-wearing

    waitresses and delicious American food

under the Rubys flagship. On July 26,

2010 Rubys celebrated its second year of

paying homage to the lovely lady the

    fabulous restaurant was named after.

    Normally youd pay around $9-10

for a hamburger and fries plate with an

ocean view, but on this special day, we

paid $2.80. Seal Beach General Manager

Art Haack, Cassidy Watts, and Katrina

Stebbins all cheerfully worked to make

customers happy on the Seal Beach Pier

    diner for Rubys

    birthday celebration.

    Its been a

    steady steam of traffic

    all day, said Art

    Haack, general

    manager of the Seal

    Beach Pier restaurant.

    Well end up serving

    over 1,000 people

    before the day is through.

On our dinner-time stroll we stopped

and put our names on the list, just on

whim. How can you pass up a $2.80 meal?

The wait was around 20 minutes, but well

worth it. The burgers were cooked to

perfection (medium well) and though they

normally come with thousand island and

mayonnaise, I by-passed that for ketchup

and mustard which I squeezed onto the bed

of cold lettuce, and slice of tomato sitting

on top of the patty. The sesame bun was

sweet and the meal complete. Thanks for

letting us join in on your well-deserved

    birthday celebration, dear Ruby! Thanks

for the memories! Rubys on the Seal

Beach Pier is located at 900-A Ocean Ave.,

Based on my computer experience...a picture is worth a thousand words, but

it uses up three thousand times thememory.

trouble with life is there's nobackground music.

    People who know me know

that I smile because I don'tknow what the hell is going on.Please... appreciate every singlething you have, especially your

In just six months, the largest tax hikes in the history

of America will take effect. They will hit families

and small businesses in three great waves on

    January 1, 2011:

    -------------------------------

First Wave: Expiration of 2001 and

2003 Tax ReliefIn 2001 and 2003, the GOP Congress enacted several

tax cuts for investors, small business owners, and families.

These will all expire on January 1, 2011:

    Personal income tax rates

    will rise.

    The top income tax

rate will rise from 35 to 39.6

percent (this is also the rate

    at which two-thirds of small

    business profits are taxed).

    The lowest rate will rise

from 10 to 15 percent. All

    the rates in between will

    also rise. Itemized

    deductions and personal

    exemptions will again phase

    out, which has the same

mathematical effect ashigher marginal tax rates. The full list of marginal rate hikes

    is below:

The 10% bracket rises to an expanded 15%

The 25% bracket rises to 28%

The 28% bracket rises to 31%

The 33% bracket rises to 36%

The 35% bracket rises to 39.6%

Higher taxes on marriage and family.

The "marriage penalty" (narrower tax brackets for

married couples) will return from the first dollar of income.

The child tax credit will be cut in half from $1000 to $500

per child. The standard deduction will no longer be doubled

for married couples relative to the single level. The

dependent care and adoption tax credits will be cut.

The return of the Death Tax.

This year, there is no death tax. For those dying on or

after January 1 2011, there is a 55 percent top death tax rate

on estates over $1 million. A person leaving behind two

homes and a retirement account could easily pass along a

death tax bill to their loved ones.

Higher tax rates on savers and investors.

The capital gains tax will rise from 15 percent this

year to 20 percent in 2011. The dividends tax will rise from

15 percent this year to 39.6 percent in 2011. These rates will

rise another 3.8 percent in 2013.

    -------------------------------

Second Wave: Health CareThere are over twenty new or higher taxes in

Obamacare. Several will first go into effect on January 1,

    2011. They include:

The "Medicine Cabinet Tax"Thanks to Obamacare, Americans will no longer be

able to use health savings account (HSA), flexible spending

account (FSA), or health reimbursement (HRA) pre-tax

    dollars to purchase non-prescription, over-the-counter

    medicines (except insulin).

The "Special Needs Kid s Tax"

This provision of Obamacare imposes a cap on

flexible spending accounts (FSAs) of $2500 (Currently,

there is no federal government limit). There is one group of

FSA owners for whom this new cap will be particularly

cruel and onerous: parents of special needs children.

There are thousands of families with special needs

children in the United States, and many of them use FSAs

to pay for special needs education. Tuition rates at one

leading school that teaches special needs children in

Washington, D.C. (National Child Research Center) can

easily exceed $14,000 per year. Under tax rules, FSA

dollars can not be used to pay for this type of special needs

    education.

    The HSA Withdrawal Tax Hike.

This provision of Obamacare increases the additional

tax on non-medical early withdrawals from an HSA from

10 to 20 percent, disadvantaging them relative to IRAs and

other tax-advantaged accounts, which remain at 10 percent.

    -------------------------------

    Third Wave: The Alternative Minimum

Tax and Employer Tax HikesWhen Americans prepare to file their tax returns in

January of 2011, they'll be in for a nasty surprise-the AMT

won't be held harmless, and many tax relief provisions will

    have expired. The major

    items include:

    The AMT will ensnare

    over 28 million families, up

    from 4 million last year.

    According to the left-

    leaning Tax Policy Center ,

    Congress' failure to index

the AMT will lead to an

explosion of AMT taxpaying families-rising from 4 million

last year to 28.5 million. These families will have to

    calculate their tax burdens

twice, and pay taxes at the

    higher level. The AMT was

created in 1969 to ensnare a

    handful of taxpayers.

    Small business

    expensing will be slashed

    and 50% expensing will

    disappear. Small businesses

    can normally expense

    (rather than slowly-deduct,

    or "depreciate") equipment

    purchases up to $250,000.

This will be cut all the way

down to $25,000. Larger businesses can expense half of their purchases of

equipment. In January of 2011, all of it will have to be

"depreciated." Taxes will be raised on all types of

    businesses.

There are literally scores of tax hikes on business that

will take place. The biggest is the loss of the "research and

experimentation tax credit," but there are many, many

others. Combining high marginal tax rates with the loss of

this tax relief will cost jobs.

Tax Benefits for Education and Teaching Reduced.

The deduction for tuition and fees will not be

available. Tax credits for education will be limited.

Teachers will no longer be able to deduct classroom

expenses. Coverdell Education Savings Accounts will be

cut. Employer-provided educational assistance is curtailed.

The student loan interest deduction will be disallowed for

    hundreds of thousands of families.

Charitable Contributions from IRAs no longer

    allowed.

Under current law, a retired person with an IRA can

contribute up to $100,000 per year directly to a charity from

their IRA. This contribution also counts toward an annual

"required minimum distribution." This ability will no

    longer be there.

Now our insurance is INCOME on your W2's...

One of the surprises we'll find come next ye ar, is what

follows - a little "surprise" that 99% of us had no idea was

included in the "new and improved" healthcare

legislation... the dupes, er, dopes, who backed this

administration will be astonished! Starting in 2011, (next

year folks), your W-2 tax form sent by your employer willbe increased to show the value of whatever health insurance

you are given by the company. It does not matter if that's a

private concern or governmental body of some sort. If

you're retired? So what; your gross will go up by the

    amount of insurance you get.

You will be required to pay taxes on a large sum of

money that you have never seen.

Take your tax form you just finished and see what

$15,000 or $20,000 additional gross does to your tax debt.

That's what you'll pay next year. For many, it also puts you

into a new higher bracket so it's even worse.

This is how the government is going to buy insurance

for the15% that don't have insurance and it's only part of the

    tax increases.

Not believing this??? Here is a research of

the summaries...On page 25 of 29: TITLE IX REVENUE

    PROVISIONS- SUBTITLE A: REVENUE OFFSET

    PROVISIONS-(sec. 9001, as modified by sec. 10901)

Sec.9002 "requires employers to include in the W-2 form of

each employee the aggregate cost of applicable employer

sponsored group health coverage that is excludable from

    the employees gross income."

    Arnaud Dufour

Up until recently, 4.25% was the lowest

rate available on a 30 year fixed rate

    mortgage. Obtaining this

    lowest or floor rate

    typically involved some

    form of buy-down or

    points. With mortgage

    rates achieving new record

lows in the last few weeks,

    something phenomenal has

    happened. The floor rate of

    4.25% has been available

    with little or no buy-down.

    In order for banks to

    accommodate homeowners

    wanting to make an

    investment into their

    mortgage the banks have just

lowered the floor rate ontheir rate sheets.

    Can you imagine a 30

    year fixed rate at 3.75%?

Over the last 40 years the

    average rate for the

    conforming 30 year fixed

rate loan has been nearly 7%.

Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s a fixed

rate under 6% was considered highly

desirable. In the last 2 years since the housing

bubble burst a rate under 5%, previously

unimaginable for many, has now become the

    mental benchmark of American homeowners.

Anyone whos followed mortgage rates for

any length of time realizes that the mere

concept of a 30 year fixed below 4.0% is

downright ludicrous. Lunacy be damned! For

the right individuals, a 30 year fixed is

available as low as 3.75% (points apply).

Earlier this year I wrote an article called

Point or no Points. For some homeowners

it makes sense to invest more

    into their closing costs to

    obtain a lower rate.

    For others it

    doesnt. The

    u l t i m a t e

    justification is

    similar to any

other investment: How long will you keep

it? As a general rule, five years seems to

be the breakeven point for mortgage buy-

downs. This means that homeowners who

are not likely to keep their loan for a

minimum of five years will very rarely

find justification for any type of buy-

down or investment into their rate. On the

other hand, those who are more certain of

long-term residency are likely to receive a

potentially substantial return on theirinvestment. This has never been more true

than now while rates are at record-

    breaking lows.

It took 49 years, but consequential changes are being made to

batting statistics of Yankees' legends Roger Maris and Mickey

Mantle. These corrections affect the 1961 AL RBI and 1961 AL and

    MLB runs scored champions.

Sean Forman of baseball-reference.com reprinted a note on his

website written by Lyle Spatz, chair of the Society For American

Baseball Research records committee. In the note, Spatz details that

Roger Maris was mistakenly given an extra RBI in a 1961 game. It also

details that Mantle was given an extra run scored in the same year.

These statistics are significant because they change the AL and

    MLB leaders for the year.

Maris was originally credited with 142 RBI in 1961, one more

than Baltimore's Jim Gentile. Rocky Colavito was just behind them

    with 140.

Researcher Ron Rakowski initially discovered the

discrepancies, noticing that a scoring error was made during a

July 5 game between New York and Cleveland at Yankee Stadium.

Maris hit a single and on the play a throwing error was made after

Maris rounded the base, consequently sending Tony Kubek

around to score with Maris ending up at third.

Because it was an unearned run due to the

throwing error, Maris should not have been

credited with the RBI. Maris later hit a solo

home run in the game, but the scorer

incorrectly reported two RBIs to Major League

Baseball's office instead of one. The New York

Times, New York Daily News, New York

Journal American, Cleveland Plain Dealer and

the The Sporting News all show Maris with

just one RBI. The recognized discovery is

imperative as it now has Maris sharing the

1961 AL RBI lead with Gentile, both players

driving in 141 for the season.

On the other hand, Rakowski also discovered that

Mickey Mantle's run total was scored incorrectly in

another game during 1961. In the second game of a

doubleheader on Sept. 10 against Cleveland, Mantle was

given an extra run. Rakowski confirmed this error by

juxtaposing score sheets of New York sports writers and

media outlets and the Yankees' official statistics. This

    corrected

error now gives Mantle one less

run, placing him at 131 runs scored for 1961. This

crowns Maris the AL leader and MLB leader in runs scored with 132,

    overtaking Mantle.

As a side note, 1961 was the year Roger Maris hit 61 home runs,

setting a then MLB record by passing Babe Ruth by one, and also

setting the AL home run record that still stands in 2010.

According to Spatz's statement, Retrosheet, Baseball-

Reference.com, Baseball Almanac and the Elias Sports Bureau have all

    recognized these corrected numbers.

The changes come as a result of dedicated research by the SABR

teaming up with Retrosheet, in an attempt to ensure statistics from the

pre-1984 era are as accurate as possible.

rom NBC's Mark Murray "As we mentioned

earlier today, the results from last night's

primaries in Oklahoma ensure that Oklahomawill have its first-ever female governor -- either

Mary Fallin (R) or Jari Askins (D).

In fact, per Rutgers' Center for American

Women and Politics, there are eight states this year

that could very well elect it's first-ever female

    governor: California (Republican Meg Whitman?),

Florida (Democrat Alex Sink?), Georgia (Republican

Karen Handel?), Maine (Democrat Libby Mitchell?),

    Minnesota (Dem Margaret Anderson Kelliher?),

New Mexico (either Dem Diane Denish or

Republican Susana Martinez), Oklahoma, and South

    Carolina (Republican Nikki Haley?).

As NBC's Jillian Hughes noted earlier this

month, come 2011, we could approach or surpass the

previous record of nine women residing in governors

    mansions simultaneously."

The owners have applied a lot of thought to the

creation of this Lift-style business location. A key for

business owners to understand is that office design can

be a strong motivator with employee retention, quality

of work, all equating to savings for a serious busines

    operator.

Already, businesses that have made lease

At approximately 01:52 hours on Monday

morning, July 19, 2010, officers of the

    Seal Beach Police Department conducted

a traffic stop of a vehicle that was being driven

erratically and speeding on Seal Beach

Boulevard. Officers made contact with the driver

who requested paramedics for a male passenger

who had been assaulted with a knife while fishingon the pier.

The victim was fishing from the pier

when he was stabbed in the chest with an

unknown weapon after being involved in a

    verbal altercation with other fishermen.

Officers checked the pier as well as the

parking areas in the old town area but were

unable to locate the suspect (s).

The victim was transported to a localhospital where he was treated for his wounds

    and released.

Any persons with knowledge of this

incident are encouraged to contact Seal

Beach Police Detective Gary Krogman at

    The Huntington Beach Police

    Department wants to publish the

    names of suspected DUI

offenders on its website in an attemptto prevent and reduce the crime. The

department wants to send a clear

message that they are serious about

    enforcement. Enforcement for

    sure...prevention always an issue.

    According to a report submitted

this month to City Council, Surf City

police firmly believe drunk driving is a

    significant problem, especially in the

    downtown area where a high

    concentration of businesses that serve

liquor exist. "DUIs are a public-safety issue," said

police Lt. Russell Reinhart. Reinhart said...public

awareness of the problem, and scope of the problem, is

one way of addressing p ublic-safety concerns.

The department is considering posting the names,

which are public record, online, not to embarrass people,

but to send a message that Huntington

is enforcing DUIs, Reinhart said. "It's

not a wall of shame we're looking to

put up," he said. It's unclear how wellthis strategy will work, considering it is

(in essence) the continuation of a

policy upheld by the news agency and

the police department for years with no

reduction in DUI incidences since its

    inception.

    The department has made an

average of 1,700 DUI arrests a year and

the report to city council members

suggests that in 2008 Huntington's DUI

rate was the third-highest for similar

sized municipalities cities of approximately 200,000

    residents.

The report also claims that Huntington currently

has the fourth-highest number of alcohol-related traffic

collisions. Reinhart says a dozen or so lives are claimed

    from these each year.

Why Asheville you might ask, well Asheville

is now the number one small town to visit.

Yes, it really is a very cute city with lots of

    restaurants and breweries, yes breweries.

There are at least 15 local breweries in Asheville.

We were able to visit all of them at the first annual

Asheville Beer City Festival in the heart of downtown

at McGuire Park. Our favorites were the IPAs and the

    cast IPA from Highland brewery.

Our friends Al & Beth Aldecoa whom packed up

and left Yorba Linda, CA last Oct. to retire in Asheville

hosted us on quite the N.C. adventure. We arrived

Memorial Day evening in Charlotte, N.C. where we

were greeted by our friends Al & Beth. After a 2 hour

drive to Asheville we settled in to a very nice guest

room, yes lots more square footage and acreage for the

buck. They live in Biltmore Lake community which is

built around Inca Lake. Lots of beautiful homes

around the lake which we walked around every

    morning 2.2 miles.

Our first day we went to Chimney Rock at

Chimney Rock State Park. We rode the 26-story

elevator built inside the mountain to reach the

Chimney. The views were spectacular, we even

enjoyed a thunder and lighting rain storm, we were

stuck for about an extra 1&1/2 hours waiting for thestorm to pass through. The show was worth it. For

dinner that night Al cooked a Rack of Lamb on the

Grill with a special sauce, a true Southern BBQ.

Thursday we visited the Grove Park Inn which is

where President Obama stayed for his golf vacation.

Since 1913, the rocking chairs, immense stone

fireplaces and sweeping views of the Blue Ridge

Mountains have charmed and relaxed the guests. We

had a wonderful lunch while enjoying the view.

Friday was a good old Southern BBQ hosted by

Al & Beth. The neighbors came over and some friends

who live an hour away also came. We had ribs cooked

for 4 hours on the Big Green Egg which is the worlds

best smoker and Grill. I have to say they were the best

    ribs we have ever had.

Saturday was the Asheville Beer City Festival that

I talked about in my opening. A little history about the

festival. Asheville won the title of Beer City USA in an

online poll. The Beer Festival is a celebration of made-

in-Carolina brews from the mountains to the coast.

Saturday night we went to see the Asheville

Tourists (the local baseball team, and farm team Class

A South Atlantic league for the Colorado Rockies).

Talk about how fun a game can be, from really good

local beer only $3.00 and having seats on first base

first row and the players coming by to autograph

pictures and balls for the kids. Also Doug participated

in a 7 inning stretch by trying to throw a Wiffle ball

into the back of a jeep, but did not quite make it. Fun

to enjoy a down home baseball game.

Sunday thru Tues. we went to Fontana Lake,

where we spent a few days in a cabin by the Lake. Al

& Beth have a boat so was a fun couple of days

exploring the lake going by the dam and having a

picnic on the boat and swimming in the water.

Tuesday we took the Great Smoky Mountain

Railroad, which is the Murphy Branch of the Western

North Carolina Railroad. The railroad delivered

thousands of mountaineers from the wilderness of theirlandlocked hills in 1891. By the turn of the 20th

Century there were as many as four trains a day from

    Asheville to Murphy.

The last part of our trip was a visit to my Cousin

in Knoxville, TN. Spent Wed. & Thursday night with

her and her husband, enjoying the city.

Before we left for home on Sat. we watched the

    Enka Lake Triathlon.

We want to thank Al & Beth for being such good

hosts and showing us a bit of Southern Life in North

    Carolina.

    : I've

    noticed that wildflower

    blooms in the mountains have

been coming earlier and earlier in recent years.

Is this a sign of global warming? And what

does this mean for the long term survival of

these hardy yet rare plants? - Ashley J., via e-

    mail

As always, its hard to pin specific year-

    to-year weather-variations and related

    phenomenaincluding altered blooming

    schedules for wildflowerson global

warming. But longer term analysis of seasonal

flowering patterns and other natural events do

indicate that global warming may be playing a

role in how early wildflowers begin popping

    up in the high country.

    University of Maryland ecologist David

Inouye has been studying wildflowers in the

Rocky Mountains near Crested Butte, Colorado

for four decades, and has noticed that blooms

have indeed begun earlier over the last decade.

    Aspen sunflowers, among other charismatic

high country wildflowers, used to first bloom in

mid-May, but are now are doing so in mid-April,

a full month earlier. Inouye thinks that smaller snow

packs in the mountains are melting earlier due to global

warming, in turn triggering early blooms.

Smaller snow packs not only mean fewer flowers

    (since they have less water to use in photosynthesis);

they can also stress wildflower populations not

accustomed to exposure to late-spring frost. According

to Inouyes research, between 1992 and 1998 such

frosts killed about a third of the Aspen sunflower buds

in some 30 different study plots; but more recently, from

1999 through 2006, the typical mortality rate doubled,

with three-quarters of all buds killed by frost in an

average year thanks to earlier blooming.

Inouyes worrisome conclusions are backed up by

experiments conducted by fellow researcher John Harte,

who over a 15 year period used overhead heaters in

nearby wildflower study plots to accelerate snow melt.

The results were the same: Wildflowers bloomed early

    and not as vigorously.

Several studies in Europe have shown that some

species of wildflowers there may be able to migrate

north and to higher elevations as the climate warms, but

Inouye fears his beloved Aspen sunflowers and many

other American wildflowers may be lost forever as they

are not able to migrate as quickly as needed in order to

survive widespread surface temperature increases and

    escape extinction.

Harte is also gloomy about the prospects for

Colorados mountain wildflowers. He predicts that the

wildflower fields he and Inouye have been stud ying will

give way to sagebrush desert within the next 50

years, whether or not the governments of the

world can get a grip on greenhouse gas

    emissions.

As a hedge against such dire predictions,

the nonprofit Center for Plant Conservation is

spearheading seed collection efforts on thousands

of rare wildflower species across the U.S. for

inclusion in the Colorado-based National Center

for Genetic Resources Preservation, a repository

for both common and rare prized American

plant seeds. The banked seeds, useful if not

solely for preserving the genetic makeup of

species that may go extinct in the wild, can also

be used for future restoration projects on

    otherwise compromised landscapes.

    Yael Zisling offers his

    opinion and states..."There is a

misconception about Kosher wine, that it simply doesnt

hold-up, taste wise. However, one only has to taste some of Golan

Heights Winerys wines (just as an example), to know that is simply not

true. Kosher wine used to mean a sweet dark-red liquid since the mid

    1980s all that has changed.

With the emergence in recent years of so many boutique wineries in

Israel, not all of the wine being produced locally is kosher. Many of the

boutique wineries simply are unwilling or unable, (due to their growing

and production methods) to produce kosher wines. For a wine to be

kosher, strict regulations must be followed. It really all begins in the

fields. Grapes from new vines may not be used for making wine, until

after the fourth year. Every seventh year the fields must be left fallow and

there is a prohibition on growing other fruits and vegetables

    between the vines.

All the equipment, tools and winemaking storage facilities

must be kosher. During the harvest, only Sabbath observant male

Jews are allowed to work on the production of the wines. Since

most of the experienced winemakers in Israel are not observant,

this means that they cant touch the wine or the equipment,

    during the winemaking process.

During the production of kosher wine, no animal products

may be used. Gelatin or egg whites are sometimes used by non-

kosher wine makers, to clarify the wine, while kosher wine

makers use a clay material, called bentonite, which pulls

suspended particles to the bottom of the barrel.

For wine to be kosher one percent of the wine must be

discarded, a symbolic remnant of the 10% tithe, paid to the

Temple in Jerusalem in days gone by. Additionally, barrels must

    be cleaned three times.

There are really two levels of kosher wine. The first i ncludes

the restrictions outlined above, while the second, known as

mevushal utilizes an additional process. This is important since

Kashrut law stipulates that in order for a wine to retain its kosherness

once opened and poured by a non-Jew, (such as a waiter, for instance) t he

    wine must be "mevushal."

Bringing the liquid to a boiling point makes this type of wine,

causing air bubbles to be brought to the surface and the loss of some

wine, due to evaporation. A wine that is produced in this manner

retains its religious purity, regardless of who opens or pours it. A

study at the University of California at Davis, has proven that it is not

possible to consistently taste the difference between non- mevushal

    and mevushal wine.

To ensure wines purity, the codification of koshering wine began in

the days of Maimonides. Today, a quick glance at the bottles label will

clearly indicate whether the wine is kosher or not. Some truly wonderful

kosher wine is being produced in Israel."
