THE LORDS PRAYERPART 3
Mt 6: 11,12:11 Give us today our daily bread.12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
UNDERSTANDING WHO GOD IS
Ecclesiastes 2:24-2624 A person can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in their own toil. This too, I see, is from the hand of God, 25 for without him, who can eat or find enjoyment? 26 To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
What are our daily needs1. 2. 3. 4.
Philippians 4:6, 7
6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

• How much of your prayer is praise or thanksgiving?

35 “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”

• How have you seen sin affect your own relationships?
REFLECTION
• How actively do you practice confession and forgiveness in your own life?
• How quickly are you able to resolve conflict and forgive others (or how do you have tendencies to avoid conflict and be a false peace keeper)?
