The whole city of Mekkah acted as a transition space tothe Kaaba. Even though Mekkah is a developed city, butit still maintaining its status as a sacred destination.

The function of the religious space marks the sacrednessof space. As can be seen, even the space outside theMasjid Al Haram is used for praying purposes. Thisshows that the whole space is a sacred space.

Many tourists are being disrespectful to the monk by creatingloud noises and taking photos of them. These behaviors happened because the tourist dontunderstand the holiness of Borobudur. The organizer of Borobudur should discipline the sellersnot to aggressively approach the visitors.

The holiness of the space can be improved by changing thelandscape surrounding Borobudur. Instead of theportraying modernity and simplicity, the landscape shouldhave portrayed the savage of the forest. This will vividlybrought visitors into the past and create a betterintroduction to Borobudur temple.

Based on the previous discussion that religious visitors aredisturbed by the tourist of Borobudur temple, Borobudurtemple should have a space to educate these tourists about

    certain aspect of Buddhism.
