Message From the Prez...

Hope you got a good laugh at the David Copperfield lecture email. Its was all Leigh's idea. I would like to ask all of you to come to the April 19th meeting as Ring 55 needs you input. We will presenting a slate of officers for you to vote on and will be taking nominations for additions to the slate. This is an important meeting as it will shape the up coming year for our club.

I wish to thank all of those who have helped me as I've served my term as your president. This is not a one person job and could not have been done with out your input. The April meeting should be a lot of fun. The theme is April fools, so bring out you funny material, your sucker gags and routines. Lets have some fun.On May 3rd we will be hosting the fair well lecture tour of Aldo Colombini. Rachael will be here too.Aldo is a great person and a super entertainer. This could be your last chance to see them live and in person. It's at our regular meeting place on a special nite May 3.

Our regular meeting for May will be at the Roadhouse for our annual banquet and installation of officers. This is shaping up to be a very special event. Again thank you for allowing me to serve asyour president.See you at our next meeting and remember to bring a guest as they are always welcome. You make the magic happen,Phil Tuttle, president Ring 55

LAST MONTH PHOTOSOf World Greatest Liars!

Here’s a clever little 3 shell game type close-up magic trick from the 1950’s to early 1960’s. The round wooden block with a cute rabbit picture is placed under any one of three top hats BY THE SPECTATOR and then the order of the hats is freely mixed.(The performer never needs to touch any of these props, can be out of the room etc.)

Magician takes up the 4th hat and pretends to see through that hat into the others and always 100% of the time is able to point out which one conceals the rabbit!

The first club member to contact our Editor, Leigh Hotz, with the correct name of this trick wins a FREE $10.00 Gift Certificate to the Wizard Magic Shop.

Wabbit WHATSIT?

Our Liars Club panel of expert liars really fooled the rest of the club. The creative and

convincing descriptions of the magic props were so good, no one got 100% of trying to find out who was telling the

truth.

WIZARDS WORLD FEATURE STARTING NEXT MONTHAny member is invited to share an idea, a source for something related to Magic, a new trick that's especially good or bad, a book review, a biography or autobiography (new members), an old trick that may merit a reintroduction to our group, an especially good deal in the marketplace etc. etc. please submit content to [email protected].
