Safety, comfort and the provision of an environmemnt that enhances the learning experience have become key issues around the world. Poor seating has a major impact on an individual’s ability to concentrate, to learn and on their personal safety. Thousands of children are taken to hospital each year as a direct consequence of chair related accidents.

The Max chair is the brainchild of an experienced classroom teacher and designed the anti-tilt chairs to prevent children from rocking back as well as to provide extraordinary lumbar support and comfort.

Leaning back on chairs is a well known problem. Not only does a child leaning back put him or herself in danger, it constantly stops the flow of lessons, reducing the ability for a teacher to explain new concepts and for a whole class to stay focused. It is a constant interruption that can be avoided.

Falling off chairs can cause serious injury, or even death. The Max chair aims to eradicate, or at least reduce the number of accidents, as well as giving a practical, stylish and great value solution to a lifelong problem.
