Our Women on Mission group spearheads this effort. Money raised in this iniave sup- plies clean water filters to missionaries in countries without clean water. The money also pays for water projects in various places in the world that lack clean water. Did you know that 780 million people in the world lack clean water—a basic staple for life and a pre- venter of many diseases. Last year, PW, PL provided grants for clean water resources in Hai, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, Uganda, Ghana, Cuba, India, Kenya, Puerto Rico, and the Do- minican Republic. This year, our giſts can impact other people in other countries in des- perate need for clean water. Our church goal is $15,000. Would you please pray about what God would have you give to this effort? Every me you get a drink of water, say a prayer for people who can’t do something as simple as that. And let’s be generous to help them. Thank you in advance. “I was thirsty,” said Jesus, “and you gave me a drink.” Let’s join the effort. This Sunday we begin a summer series called Road Trip. Will be road tripping through the book of Acts. Pentecost Sunday was on May 20. We’re a lile late to the party, but beer late than never. Let’s explore the birth of the church this Sunday.
