2009: Migrated to Sakai for courses from legacy homegrown LMS
We (central IT) host our instance of Sakai
Upgraded from 2.9 to 10.2 in May 2015
We allow everyone at UVa to create any type of site (including course sites)
Only official instructors (in our SIS) can add rosters to course sitesExternal guest accounts cannot create sites nor do they have the Resources tool in My Workspace
