  • THE MODERN SCHOOL

    NCR DELHI

    SYLLABUS BOOKLET

    CLASS

    S - 5

    2019-20

  • Dear Parents,

This booklet is being given to each child as a guideline for the parents. The whole year’s work has been

carefully planned for two terms. The assignments will be based on the topics mentioned in the booklet.

However, we wish to state that:

    a. We may do more than what is given in the booklet.

    b. We may also have to re-arrange topics in case of unforeseen holidays cutting in into the term.

Parents are requested not to teach ahead of the teachers, as the methods may vary and might confuse the

    child.

For the current academic session we shall be following an evaluation pattern, evenly distributed in the

course of the academic session 2019-20. The examination schedule of classes P4-S5 is given for your

convenience in the syllabus booklet itself.

In case a child is absent for a Term or Final Assessment, no retest will be taken. Term Assessment date can

be rescheduled on any working day of the school.

Promotion to the new class will be based on the child’s performance throughout the year and regularity in

attending the school. Attendance is compulsory on all the working days of the school.

Parents are requested to keep in touch with the school by attending the parent-teacher sessions regularly.

    Thank You,

    Headmistress
