///Aleksandra Rychl icka
Aleksandra Rychlicka – screenwriter, poet and jurnalist. Educated in University College Utrecht (major in philosophy, literature and journalism) and Kraków School of Film and Communication, recipient of 2-year Hygens Scholarship awarded by the Dutch Minister of Education to outstanding international research students, Aleksandra was working for several magazines and creative agencies. Actually she makes Mphil/PhD in School of Eastern European and Slavonic Studies at the University College London preparing the research project on the identity of Polish people through the eyes of young Polish artists.

Jacek Nagłowski – filmmaker, initiator and co-founder of Film 1,2 association. Awarded twice by the Minister of Culture. In 2004 together with Agnieszka Janowska he co-found Centrala. He deals with human interiors since 1998, when he started studying philosophy at the Jagiellonian University. He continued later on directing two films (one fiction and one documentary) having emptiness as the subject. Since the beginning his main goal was breaking through the walls of appearance, just to learn that there is another wall behind it, and another behind that one, and another, and another...
... one of the main characters becomes a synonym of an involved viewer, or even the director himself, whose story got out of control and went in a completely unexpected direction. The psychological drama, effortlessly playing with the thriller genre, is set in an empty and sterile landscape of a guarded community estate.
The film is full of cool, long and often still frames that emphasize the emptiness and the nightmarish atmosphere of the place where the film is set. Additionally, they are interspersed with the takes from the CCTV cameras that spy on the unaware characters. The medium itself often takes over the story - when the camera begins to tell a completely different tale, as if it wanted to look away with embarrassment and, at the same time exposes surveillance to us. This film is like Battle Royale, has it been made by Michael Haneke, turning the jungle into concrete and the blood into lust. It seems the director wanted to vivisect the society, who no longer has its own dreams and has to fill this void, trying to dream the dreams and desires of the people they spy on. Still, why being so pessimistic? I do not think our readers share this vision of the world. Myself, in any case, I am far from it. Do not recommend.

Seduction is Jean Baudrillard’s most provocative book. Here, under the sign of seduction all modern theory is put into question. Seduction speaks of the sudden reversibility in the order of things where discourse is absorbed into its own signs without a trace of meaning. In the sudden triumph of seduction in apocalyptic culture there is also signaled the end of history. As Baudrillard says, “Nothing can be greater than seduction itself, not even the order that destroys it.” Seduction is a theory-fiction which resembles nothing which has preceded it. It turns contemporary discourses inside out, even the most radical, and could very well challenge all modem theory, even indeed, the rules of theoretical production itself. Both the despair and the airy certainty reflect, in part, the enormous recent influence of the French theorist and philosopher. For Baudrillard, is not seduction a new figure of our freedom?
