Based on Glasgow Green in one of Scotland’s most historic buildings, WEST on the Green is a unique venue for Weddings,

Civil Partnership Ceremonies and Celebrations.

WEST on the Green is the home of WEST beer, a working brewery, which makes for a very unique wedding experience.

Our weddings operate by the same ethos we brew our beers; ensuring that the passion involved in planning

and crafting translates into a truly joyous event.

We are here for you. Our team will answer every question and solve any problems. Even on the big day you don’t have to worry

about a thing, we will set up your decorations to your instructions and make sure the day goes as perfect as you imagined.

THE COU RT YA R D

WEST Courtyard is an inspired space that incorporates the industrial grandeur of a full production brewery with the style and finesse of a premier events suite.

Its main feature is a 15ft high wall of glass that acts as a viewing gallery into WEST’s brand new state of the art brewery below.

A spectacular backdrop to any event, the viewing gallery with interchangeable mood lighting

provides a focal point for the room and will showcase the existing distinctive architecture of this Grade A listed building.

Wall to wall windows provide a bright open plan space, whilst the original exposed brickwork and warm wood panelling offers a rustic finish.

The Courtyard benefits from its own private bar and toilet facilities, as well as the addition of a private luxury bridal suite/green room.

THE HOP ROOM

The Hop Room is the perfect space for a more intimate ceremony. This private and charming space can accommodate up to 90 people for a wedding ceremony.

The Hop Room is bright and airy with windows on three sides along with beautiful dark wood panelling. The décor is neutral and contemporary and lends itself to your desired theme. The

large windowsills provide additional space for decoration.

WEST on the Green is home to a beautiful grand piano that can provide a musical centrepiece for your big day. This is included in our room hire as well as a recommendation for a pianist. Any negotiations with regard to timings and costs are held directly between the guest and the pianist.

While your guests enjoy the drinks reception, take advantage of our home,

the Templeton Building. With its interesting architecture, it makes for a

stunning backdrop to your photos.

You may also like to consider a unique photo opportunity beside our impressive

copper kettles in the brewery.

DR I NKS R ECEPTION

After the ceremony, we can prepare a drinks reception of our speciality beers, prosecco and orange juice or any other drink of

your choice. These can be served with a selection of canapés.

You may wish to consider entertaining your guests with a brewery tour whilst you are having your photographs taken or during the drinks

reception. We can provide a detailed 35 minute journey through our world class micro brewery. We can arrange a tour for a minimum of four people and up to a maximum of 25 people for a fee of £75.

FLE X IBILE SPACE A R R A NGEM EN T

The Courtyard offers a generous sized dining area with a flexible layout for a maximum of 120 people for a wedding breakfast and up 200 people for an evening reception.

The room is approximately 18.2 metres long by 10.5 metres wide with high ceilings of approximately 6 metres.

The Hop Room can accommodate up to 64 people for a wedding breakfast and

90 people for an evening reception with occasional tables and chairs.

The room is approximately 12 metres long by 5.6 metres wide with high ceilings of approximately 6 metres.

There are a number of different layout options depending on guest numbers.

EV ENI NG R ECEPTION

To end your evening, we will turn around the room effortlessly into your evening

reception where you can dance away the night with your guests underneath the twinkling

fairy lights and brewery mood lighting.

W EDDI NG BR EA K FAST

Before your wedding day, we would encourage you to come along to WEST on the Green to sample your choice of dishes for your wedding breakfast. This is your chance

to give any feedback to our Events Team and Head Chef to perfect your meal.

On the day you will also have the option to serve a selection of beer and wine on the table.
