How do you celebrate a special anniversary? Or, to be precise: how do you celebrate two

special anniversaries? Not only was the Multivan launched 25 years ago – 4MOTION

all-wheel drive, then called “Syncro”, also first saw the light of day a quarter of a century

ago. We thought that the best way to celebrate would be with a vehicle that no one will

standard E Edition 25

Leather-covered multifunction steering wheel. It gives you a good grip and is

extremely user-friendly. It has buttons for convenient operation of the radio system

or optional mobile phone.

Passenger compartment. The swivelling seat with longitudinal adjustment and 4-rail system enable versatile use to be made of interior

space. The standard 3-seater bench seat and swivelling seat can be moved quickly and easily depending on the amount of room

required. There is standard seating for four rear passengers, and an additional swivelling seat is available as an option for the passenger

compartment. The tailgate and sliding door have practical closing aid. Privacy glass discreetly screens the interior from view and

offers protection from the sun’s rays.

Four 7 J x 17 “Cascavel” alloy wheels.

Burnished surface in Anthracite. With

235/55 R 17 tyres.

Four 8½ J x 18 “Azev Typ R” alloy wheels

in Black. With 255/45 R 18 tyres. These

alloy wheels cannot be ordered as a spare

wheel.

This may lead to longer delivery periods.

The “RCD 310” radio system offers digital

radio reception (DAB), an MP3 com-

patible CD player, RDS station display,

an AUX-IN interface, and can be com-

bined with the mobile phone preparation

options. Eight loudspeakers deliver

brilliant sound.

Cruise control. As of 30 km/h, the speed

can be kept at the level set by you at

the touch of button. The system can be

deactivated by briefly pressing the

brake pedal.

MEDIA-IN interface. This enables

external audio sources, such as an MP3

player, to be connected with a USB

adapter cable and operated via the

standard “RCD 310” radio system or an

optional radio/navigation system.

Equipment.

The Multivan Edition 25 is a Multivan like you’ve never seen before. Its striking exterior

design with Edition 25 lettering gives a clear indication of what you can expect of this

model: pure dynamics. This is assured by the powerful 2.0 l TDI engines1) with common

rail injection or the modern 2.0 l TSI engine (150 kW1)). One diesel1) and the petrol

engine1) can be combined with 4MOTION all-wheel drive and the dual clutch gearbox

(DSG). The Multivan Edition 25 has many extras as standard – for example, a leather-

covered multifunction steering wheel, “Side Assist” lane change assist, and a driving

light assistant with a “coming home” and “leaving home” function. The equipment also

includes: a tyre monitoring display; fog lights with integrated turning lights; electri-

cally adjustable, heated and folding door mirrors; and heated windscreen washer jets.

Automatically dimming rear view

mirror and rain sensor. The rear view

mirror dims when the headlights of

the vehicle behind are too bright. The

rain sensor detects even light rainfall

and activates the windscreen wipers

automatically.

Paint finishes and seat upholstery.

The Multivan Edition 25 is available in a choice of three attractive paint finishes.These

are combined with black accents – for example, the matte black roof, B pillars, door

handles, lower front bumper section, tailgate and side sills – to create a distinctive appear-

ance. The two-tone “Cascavel” alloy wheels with a burnished surface put the finishing

touches to the eye-catching exterior design, and a variety of colours and patterns are of-

fered for the seat upholstery.
