Umbrella organization for college-level associations of finance students.TRANSCRIPT
JCFAP Student Convention presents 5 inspiring speakers, to inform, persuade,
thrill & challenge... 3,500 delegates from all over the Philippines.
The JCFAP is the national “umbrella” confederation for college-level associations
of finance students. JCFAP stands for Junior Confederation of Finance Associations
of the Philippines. The confederation counts 100 member “Junior Fin-Ex”
associations or “chapters” in Philippine colleges & universities.
The JCFAP conducted a convention for 3,500 finance students, last January 4,
2014. Dubbed the “National Finance Summit,” the event featured a speech from
the PSE president, Hans Sicat, as well as an “economic outlook” talk from Felipe
Medalla, of the Monetary Board. The other speakers were:

Lito Biacora, vice president of BPI (asset management)
Chinkee Tan, popular wealth coach....
Mark Frederick So, popular trainer for forex trading.
The Title of the activity was : the “National Finance Summit, Moving towards
Global Competence.” Admission fees were P420 for members of the Junior
Confederation of Finance Associations of the Philippines, which is the national
association of students of bachelor of arts, in Financial Management..
Mr. Anton Mauricio (director of FINEX, the financial executives institute of the
Philippines, Ms. Rumi Yamamoto, past president of JCFAP, and Mr. Alexander
Gilles, of First Metro Securities, served as advisers to the 12-person executive
board, consisting of fourth-year college students. The Executive Board, organized
the event... held at the SMX Mall of Asia, occupying the entire second level of the
convention center.

The event was attended by more than 3,200 students from 70 colleges, and
Universities, from all over Luzon, and Mindanao. The Visayas universities will
affiliate with JCFAP this year, 2014.
The JCFAP conducts leadership training for student officers, events management
training, and conducts sports fests and quiz contests.
