01INTRODUCTION TO PERSONAL SELLING

Personal selling is the process of assisting and/or persuading a prospective customer to buy a product or service or to act favourably on an idea that has commercial signifi cance to the seller. Salespeople try to identify their prospects’ values and then develop a personalised selling strategy.

03KNOW HOW TO SELL

The salesperson is the primary differentiator in purchases today. As products and services become increasingly commoditised, buyers know they can get a similar offering from another company. But what they can’t get from any vendor is the same sales experience, which is created by the salesperson.

02MARKETING AND PERSONAL SELLING

The concept “marketing” is sometimes used interchangeably with “sales.” But actually, these two concepts are not the same. Marketing means to create a demand in the customer’s mind so that they will seek you out, while sales refer to basically chasing the customers and asking for the order.
