1. Entries should be made on the form provided and must reach Entries Secretary

on or before 15th July 2019. Exhibitors may make more than one entry in any one class. Joint owners are not allowed to make separate entries.

2. Deliveries of Exhibits. Personal delivery must be made between 2:30pm and

6pm on the day before the Show. 3. Staging. All exhibits will be staged by Secretary and appointed stewards.

4. Labels will be supplied by the Secretary. For class 1 and 2 labels will be attached

by the Secretary during staging. Label for a photograph to be fixed to the bottom right hand side of the mount.

5. Judging will commence promptly at 8.30am. Exhibits will be judged by a professional judge and by a public vote.

6. Bona Fide. All honey and wax exhibited must be the bona fide produce of the

exhibitors’ own bees. Photographs must have been taken but not necessarily processed by the exhibitor.

7. Sections and/or comb honey to be in any kind of case with transparent front.

8. Awards. The judges have discretion to withhold prizes in any class.

9. Objections. All objections must be made in writing and handed to the Secretary

by 3pm on the 1st day of the Show. The decision of the Committee will be final.

10. Care of Exhibits. Exhibits may only be removed from the staging after 5.30pm on the last day of the Show and accompanied by a steward.

11. Powers of Committee. The Committee reserve the right to decline any entry without a reason being given, to submit any exhibit for analysis, and to dispose of any damaged honey to the best advantage.

12. Any dispute as to the interpretation of these rules shall be referred to the Organising Committee of the New Forest and District Beekeepers’ Association.

2) A ‘For Sale’ Display Honey (extracted & comb), Beeswax Products labelled with the exhibitor’s own labels. Dimensions must be stated on the entry form. To be judged for quality and sales appeal.

3) Photograph One mounted colour print photograph on any topic connected with beekeeping. The winning print will become the property of Northern Bee books and may be reproduced in Beekeepers Quarterly.
