Introduce mandatory course for students to teach
them how not to commit plagiarism in their works,
some students have heard of plagiarism but do not
know exactly what it means.
@DrLancaster
http://thomaslancaster.co.uk
more good examples of papers, greater help of the
teaching staff in selection of topics and sources
@DrLancaster
http://thomaslancaster.co.uk
make students aware that the penalties for plagiarising
are severe so that when they start writing a paper,
plagiarising is not an option
@DrLancaster
http://thomaslancaster.co.uk

plagiarism
@DrLancaster
http://thomaslancaster.co.uk
teach kids from ground school about this problem,

Cheating fuelled by a wider culture of corruption
Students need to be taught about plagiarism, not just told about it
Support for students needed
during assessment
Penalties need to be harsh and
consistently applied
