CMWCampfireBaypaintingRetreat,March9-12,2017 WewillreturntoCampFireBayResortforour2ndPaintingRetreat.Ourleadershavecalculatedallthefeesandtheyfeelconfidentthe4daysand3nightswillbeverycloseto$145perpersonbasedona6personminimumparticipation.Thatwillincludeyourroom,taxesandthe$5studiofee.Forthoseofyouwhohaveneverbeen,thecabinisbigwith2flatscreentvsanddvds,twocompletemodernkitchens,anditsleeps12.Howeverweprefer6-8ifpossible.Then,eachpersongetstheirownbed.With10,twohavetouseafutons,with12bedsareshared.Wewouldlikelygetanothercabinbeforedoingthat.Lastyearweallbroughtfoodandatelikeroyalty!Sowell,wedidnotgooutatall.TheStudioisremarkablewithgreatlight,asuperkitchen,withmany,many,tables;theaccommodationsareREALLYclean.Thebedsare‘OK’.Signupifyouareinterestedatthemeetingonthe12th.LastdaytopaythebalanceisFeb.13,2017.

Introducing your new Officers Thank you to Gordon Schrank for accepting the position of Vice President for 2017 and 2018. Gordon and his wife, Yvonne, participate in many workshops exploring all kinds of new painting and drawing experiences. He will bring much experience to the position. Gordon’s main job is to seek and hire our meeting demonstrators. He will replace Linda Addicott.

AND – a new Treasurer!

Yvonne Schrank has volunteered to ‘cook’ the books for us for the next two years also. A family affair that couldn’t be better for us at CMW. Thank you, Yvonne, for accepting this position. Of course as treasurer her responsibilities are to keep us on course financially. She will do a wonderful job. Yvonne will serve in 2017-18. She is replacing Robyn York.
