Car Parking at St George’s Church With the First Holy Communion sessions starting on the 11th January, many of the
of the children’s parents will be attending the Saturday evening 5.30pm Mass. Since they
will be dropping off their children at 4.15pm, they are likely to fill the school car park at
this time. As ever the car park is on a first come—first served basis.

The Society of St Vincent de Paul has an active conference in the parish and offers visits to parishioners in their own homes and care homes.
They visit and help anyone in need, with no differentiation on the
grounds of faith, ethnicity, status or sexual orientation. They have strict safeguarding policies and
procedures and all visiting members must hold a DBS certificate. If you
would like a visit or know someone who might please contact the parish office on 01823 272700 or by email.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION FHC Sessions, for those registered, will start on Saturday, 11th January
2020, at 4.30pm, in the Catholic Centre; please arrive promptly.

St George’s Baptistery.
St Teresa’s Church St Teresa's has been supporting
the Taunton Foodbank this Advent with their Jessie Trees gifts. The
Foodbank has asked that any further donations be forwarded after Christmas so they can use these non-perishable gifts in the
New Year as it is will be busy. Thank you for all the gifts received;
they are much appreciated.
Charismatic Prayer Group Meetings Meetings will resume after Christmas
on Tuesday, 7th January 2020 at 8pm in the Parish Centre;
everyone is welcome to come & join us. The PARISH BOOK GROUP
The next book for the Book Club is The Leopard by Tomasi Di Lampedusa. The Library has not been able to find copies of this book, however, copies
are available to purchase on-line. The next Book Club meeting will be
Thursday, 16th January 2020, at 2pm in the Parish Centre.

The Diocese is running a Rite of Election Information Meeting on

To all the Children of the Parishes To all the children of the parishes, a special invitation to
a Children’s Party from Mgr Bernard & Fr David. It will take place on Sunday, 19th January, 10.45 –12.15 in St George’s School Hall. Great children’s entertainer
together with Refreshments for all the family. Please note an adult will need to accompany your child.
