For instance, if you earn an A in AP Human Geography, then instead of 4 quality points, you get 5. A 5.0 is calculated for this class.

Raider Academic Assistance3) Instructional Focus (IF)
✓ Instructional Focus (IF) occurs every Wednesday from 10:11 am to 11:51 am. Students are able to visit up to two teachers during the IF rotation times for additional help in a class.
4) The Raider Connection Center
✓ The Raider Connection Center is also available for student assistance on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-5:00. This program has both peers and teachers available for tutoring. Students also have access to the computer lab and space to work on group projects.

5) Raider Ride ✓ The Raider Ride is an after school bus that will provide transportation to students' home bus stop.
This after school bus runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays and departs the NFHS bus lane @ 5:00. ✓ This is a great way for your student to stay after school for clubs, activities, study sessions, tutoring,
etc. If your student would like to use this service, please visit this page, complete the permission form, and turn it into the Media Center. Please contact Mrs. Waddell for details.

Dual Enrollment (DE)
UNG – Cumming DE Program▶ High School Required Core GPA of 3.25▶ You must present minimum SAT score of 970 combined critical reading and math
with a minimum of 480 critical reading and 440 math, or ACT composite of 20 with minimum scores of 20 English and 18 math. ◦ If you have taken the new, redesigned SAT, you must present at least a 26 on
the reading section and a 480 on the math section. These scores will be converted to the old SAT equivalents to determine the combined Critical Reading + Math score required for admission under dual enrollment. You may view what your converted SAT scores would be by using SAT's Score Converter. The combined, converted Critical Reading and Math score must total 970 in addition to meeting individual score requirements. If you experience difficulty in determining your redesigned SAT equivalents, please contact a UNG Admissions Officer.

5. Ask yourself… if the coach changed, would I still be happy at my school of choice? If I didn’t want to play after my freshman year, would I still be happy here? If the team did not have a good record, would I still be happy here?

▶ Full-time enrollment is not required and students are not required to graduate from high school with a specific GPA, however, they are required to have a postsecondary cumulative 2.0 GPA, at certain checkpoints, in order to maintain eligibility
