GIVE THANKS FOR GOD OUR FATHER
A Message From Mr Lainson
In Joshua 14:6 – 15 we read the account of Caleb and how he received his allocation
of land in the Promised Land. Caleb is a man who is described three times in this
passage as one who served the Lord wholeheartedly. Caleb was a man who trusted
in the faithfulness of God – that God would honour his promises and keep his word.
This meant Caleb had no need to fear opposition, and it enabled him to stand up
and be courageous and serve the Lord. We can trust this same God who, through
Christ, promises us an eternal heritance in his heavenly kingdom.
“ For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither
the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything
else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38 – 39)
Year 12 HSC Examinations
Please continue to pray for our Year 12 students as they complete their studies and
sit for the HSC examinations. As some students have now completed their exams,
please pray especially for those students who still have exams to do – that they
would persevere. The exams are located in D14, just off the car park near the staff
toilets, for most of the remaining examination period. Please respect exam signs if
you see them up and about the school and be conscious of the noise around exam
rooms.
School Hours and Car park
A reminder to all school families that students are not to be dropped at school before
8:30am. In addition, unless you have a prep child or a parking permit issued by the
office, please do not drive into the school car park to drop off or pick your children.
2015 Enrolments
We have a number of new students starting in 2015. If you know of any students/
families considering enrolment please encourage them to contact the Campus Office
of Business Centre for an enrolment pack.
We have full-time undergraduate accountant positions currently available, based from our Wollongong office. The successful applicants will be either commencing or continuing a
Commerce/Business degree (majoring in Accountancy) at the University of Wollongong. You will be employed full time and complete your Degree on a part-time basis, gaining valuable experience as you work towards achieving a qualification that gives you options. We understand how important it is to find a rewarding career and education opportunity – one that is challenging and diverse, and is provided within a supportive and social culture. If you have an outgoing personality, enjoy working with people, and have the drive to work within a high performance (yet social) team, please send your resume to:
The Staff Partner Daley & Co PO Box 333
Wollongong NSW 2520 email: [email protected]

LITTLE DRESSES FOR AFRICA As part of our Service Week Activities, a small team of students will be sewing some dresses for the non profit
Little Dresses for Africa Organisation which seeks to provide relief to children of Africa.
Simple dresses are made out of pillow cases, and distributed through
orphanages, churches and schools to plant in the hearts of the little girls that they are worthy and valued.
Their mission is to change lives one little dress at a time.
Could you please donate one or two pillowcases (in new condition) to help with this cause?
Please send your donations to Mrs Whitelock via the office over the next week.
