A total of six animals will be auctioned off at the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE), including the Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion lambs, steers, and hogs on Thursday, Nov. 19 at 6:00 p.m. in the East Hall.

Last year, sales totaled $87,500; ten percent of this amount is donated to charitable organizations, while the remaining 90 percent is divided two ways. Ten percent goes toward promoting the expo, and 80 percentto the youth exhibitors. More than $1.75 million has already been raised through the auctions.

The Sale of Champions is one of the prime examples of NAILE’s commitment to youth involvement in agribusiness as well as the development of future leaders in the agriculture industry.

You don’t want to miss any of the action at the North American International Livestock Exposition so mark your calendars with the next few year’s dates.

The store has a variety of items from “cowgirl chic” boutiques to gear for showing livestock. Art, musical instruments and handcrafted furniture are well represented. The option of riding a mechanical bull can also be found in the store. The Giant Country Store is located in the North Wing of the Kentucky Exposition Center.
