Terms and Conditions

Please note that for Christmas Afternoon Tea & Gift experience purchases our standard terms and conditions apply, unless otherwise stated.

Party Nights & Festive Private DinnersA provisional contract will be issued by The Oakley Court which will need to be signed and returned along with a 50% deposit. The deposit payment will be required no later than 7 days after your contract has been returned to ensure the space is not released; a pro forma for this deposit will be issued once your booking is confirmed and can be paid by a bank transfer, debit card or credit card. Final payment is required fourteen days prior to the event date.

Menu choices & specific wine orders must be placed a minimum of 14 days prior to the event in writing. Any amendments or additions must be made in writing a minimum of seven days prior to the event.

Our Christmas party nights are not open to under 18s.

Cancellation ChargesYour booking becomes binding on receipt of a signed copy of our Terms and Conditions by both parties. In the event you should cancel the booking the following charges will apply:

Santa Family LunchFull pre-payment will be required at the time of booking. Payments made will be non-transferable or refundable.

Christmas Day in the Dining Room, Windsor Suite & New Years EveA 50% deposit will be required at the time of booking, by debit or credit card. The final balance will automatically be taken on Friday 15th November 2019 from the card details provided at the booking stage. Bookings made after this date will require full pre-payment. Please note that all payments are non-transferable or refundable.

Prices for our New Year’s Eve residential packages are based on 2 adults sharing a Character Double or Twin bedroom, include all meals and entertainment as detailed plus the use of our leisure facilities during festive opening hours. You can upgrade your room type, subject to availability for an additional charge. A supplement of £100.00 per night is applied for single occupancy in a Character Double or Twin bedroom.

Our New Year’s Eve package and party nights are not available to under 18s. Parties of fewer than 6 people attending the New Year’s Eve Ball will be allocated shared tables with other guests on the night. Should you wish to be allocated an individual table for your party an additional supplement of £20.00 per person will apply and must be confirmed at the time of booking.


DietaryPlease note some of our dishes may contain nuts, nut traces, dairy products, yeast, maize, eggs and other standard additives. If you have a special dietary requirement, a food allergy and/or an intolerance and want to know the ingredients in any of our menus provided please notify us upon booking, so that we can arrange with the Chef for a suitable alternative.

GeneralAll charges stated in the brochure are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate and are therefore subject to alterations should the rate change.

Menu substitutions and entertainment changes may be made without prior notice, depending on availability and guest numbers.

Woofs WelcomeDogs are welcome subject to availability, there is a small paw print charge of £45.00 per dog which is taken at the booking stage which is non-transferable or refundable. We do ask you to agree to and sign our Dog Policy prior to your arrival. We will take a refundable deposit of £70.00 upon check in to cover the cost of any damages/cleaning fees etc. should they arise if the Hotel deems this necessary otherwise the deposit will be refunded upon check out.
