MATERIALS AND METHODS The chemical compostion was established using HPLC, UV-VIS, and AEA Spectrometry methods. The hypolipemiant activity was determined on the white masculs Wistar rats, having 220-250g. The clinical studies were realized on 30 patients having dislipemia monitorized over a period of 120 days. RESULTS Biochemical parameters of the animals treated with Hof.Lipomin, having WR 1339 Triton induced hyperlipemia Figure 1. The effect of Hof.Lipomin and its constituients Figure 2. Hof.Lipomin doesn’t present cytotoxicity on the cells cultures. The studies realized on the animals experiments emphasized the lowering of the total serum lipids, of the total serum cholesterol and of serum triglycerides. The clinical studies concerning the application of the Hof.Lipomin in treatment of dislipemies point aut the decrease of total serum lipids, serum cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and serum triglycerides. The ratio total cholesterol /HDL cholesterol was improved by the total serum cholesterol lowering and by the HDL increasing. The obtained results prove that it is possible to decrease the risk of dangerous cardio-vascular events using Hof.Lipomin. REFERENCES 1. CONCLUSIONS: The new product is in accordingly to the FR X concerning the phisico-chemical and microbiological properties.
