Q1. What is your background? I am an alumnus of Kenya Institute of Management, where I studied Business Mgt. Before joining RSG, I worked at a law firm.

Q2. How did you get your start with RSG?I started working at RSG in Aug 2015. RSG has provided a platform for me to learn a lot of things that have made me the person that I am today. Q3. What do you like most about your job? What I like the most about my job is that the primary responsibility involves interacting with people on all levels at RSG and across all functional areas. I love that I get to learn new things every day.

Q4. What are the three words to describe RSG?RSG is a place where people come to get motivated and also feel like part of the family.RSG targets to expand to different locations and to provide satisfactory services to its clients.RSG is keen on providing the best and well-maintained equipment for its members.

Q5. What I’d the best advice you’ve ever been given?Follow your bliss, if it brings you joy, do more of it. Find what matters most and build life according to that necessity, this is the source of great achievement.

Physical fitness trainer and influencer, motivating and influencing clients to improve their overall fitness and health. I transformed my hobby into a profession to enable me help people transform their lives by understanding more about fitness.It’s going to be a journey, it’s not a sprint to get in shape. A little progress each day adds up to big results so keep pushing.

I believe if you want something you never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done. If you give it your best and do it like your life depends on it, you will clearly see the results, aim to be better

than you are. If you cannot push yourself enough, get a trainer or a gym training partner.

For me exercise is more than physical, it’s therapeutic; it heals broken hearts, relieves stress and bad moods.

Start your day with a workout or at least end it with one. My happiest moments are when I see my clients smiling after a serious workout because I know we are close to the goals we set.

Be active, be healthy, be happy.

Remember the act of taking the first steps what separates the winners from the losers.

BILT C.O.D. The BILT change of direction is a very unique machine allowing for lower torso dynamic training in both the vertical and lateral planes.

The intellilift weight stack provides progressive resistance for explosive strength gains.

The ability to perform squatting/knee bend movements along with lateral movements such as side steps, shuffle steps or skip steps, is innovative and exiting.

TreadmillExercise Description:Either walking or running

Instructions:Start by placing the speed at a comfortable walk. If you want, increase the speed until you are into a jog or run. You can also place the treadmill on an incline to increase the difficulty.

Elliptical Machine /Cross TrainerExercise Description:Elliptical

Instructions:Place your feet on the foot plates and grab the arm handles. Set your resistance so that it is challenging and start the elliptical motion by pulling machine arm with one arm and push the other machine arm.Pick a pace that will elevate your heart rate yet let you stay on the machine for a while.

Recumbent BikeExercise Description:Recumbent Bike

Instructions:Sit in the seat and adjust the seat so that your knee is slightly bent when the pedal is in the farthest position. Adjust the resistance so that it is challenging yet allows you to keep good technique.

Exercise of the Month -February

Since February is Heart Health Month, the Exercise of the Month is "Cardiovascular Health." All forms of cardiovascular exercise, performed at least 2 times per week for 30 minutes, will improve your health and lower your risk for a heart attack.

Change is hard because people overestimate the value of what they have - and underestimate the value of what they may gain by giving that up.

Simple Vegetable Stir Fry Recipe

DIRECTIONS

Chop all the vegetables into thin stripsIn a pan, pour the olive oil, then add the onions and garlic to cook.Gently add in your vegetables starting with the ones that will take longer to cook.

Once cooked, add some soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste.Note; soy sauce is salty so don’t overdo the salt once you’ve put the soy sauce, taste first to make sure more salt is need.
