Dear Maverick Supporter,We have offi cially completed our third year as a Division I athletic department and are now just one year away from becoming a full member. This is clearly a signifi cant milestone for Omaha Athletics as all sports will fi nally be eligible for Summit League and NCAA Championships. Our progress to this point and our last lap to the fi nish line would not have been possible without our supporters - The One Fund donors, season ticket holders and corporate sponsors - who play such a prominent role in the success of our athletic programs and the lives of our student-athletes. We can’t thank you enough for your commitment to making UNO Athletics and the Omaha community a top priority.

It’s crucial that we continue to reach out to our community and the 45,000+ UNO alumni who reside in the greater Omaha area. Their support would truly benefi t UNO and UNO Athletics.

I am excited to announce The One Fund campaign surpassed last year’s fundraising goal of $275,000, and it would not have been possible without the leadership of our campaign chairs, Kathy and Gary Gates, and the Maverick community! We are proud to announce that Shelley and Mike Homa have agreed to lead this year’s campaign for The One Fund. Please turn to page four to learn more about this year’s campaign.

As noted earlier, it is vitally important for the athletic department to engage our community and UNO alums in order to build a successful program, one in which we can all be proud. The One Fund supporters, season ticket holders and corporate partners are all important members of our team. This brochure will give you a snap-shot of all the ways you can support your team and Omaha’s Team, the UNO Mavericks.

Gifts to THE ONE FUND are received through one annual campaign. Rather than making several contributions throughout the year to specifi c booster clubs or the athletic department, donors are asked to make one annual gift to THE ONE FUND. That gift can be directed to the sport or program you prefer, or you can simply give to the athletic department’s general fund.

Along with the impact your gift will have on student-athletes, THE ONE FUND members also enjoy a variety of benefi ts.

What Your Donation to THE ONE FUND SupportsThe best and brightest student-athletes begin with scholarships. THE ONE FUND serves as the department’s annual fund, which provides programmatic support for all 15 varsity sports. Unrestricted and sport-specifi c gifts made to the annual fund provide the opportunity to meet immediate funding needs that include expenses associated with student-athlete scholarships and development, facilities, travel, equipment and other team-related costs. Annual fund gifts provide a valuable foundation of support that will ensure our department will rise to meet all challenges.

We encourage Maverick supporters to donate annually to THE ONE FUND and purchase hockey and men's basketball tickets to increase your Maverick Loyalty Points for priority seating in the new arena. For more information about seating priority, please turn to page 7.

The Mavericks believe that longtime support and supporters should be rewarded. Because of this, a new seating priority system is being adopted that will give all donors and full season ticket holders the fi rst chance to select their seats in the new arena before the general public. Those individuals who have shown and continue to show the most support will receive top priority to purchase season tickets for the 2015-16 athletic seasons.

How do I receive seating priority in the new arena?Seating priority will be determined by current giving level to The One Fund and current season ticket membership. Within each seating priority group, Maverick Loyalty Points will be used to determine the seating selection order. Please see below for more information.

How are Maverick Loyalty Points utilized?Omaha Athletics will utilize Maverick Loyalty Points to determine the priority list of all donors and season ticket holders. The athletic department will use the list to determine priority for the ticket location, parking and other amenities and/or benefi ts associated with the new arena.
