Epiphany is the manifestation/revelation of Jesus as the King/Savior not only of the Jews, but of all human beings. Today’s Solemnity reminds us that God loves all nations and cul- tures of the earth, and that He communicates with us in many, often unforeseen ways through internal inspirations, through external events, through people, and through His Word, and many other ways. Many times these factors are combined in an interplay that becomes clear only in hindsight. The challenge is for us to “decipher” God’s message and respond to it with faith, persevering generosity and courage, just as the Magi did. Please submit your envelopes (indicating the day/Mass time if applicable) to the Priest or Parish Office by Friday of each week for publication in the Paraclete if applicable or better still, give to the Priest before your intended Mass starts. Remember, the highest prayer you can ever say for yourself or any person is the offering of Holy Masses for your/their intentions.

January is the month of The Most Holy Name of Jesus STAINED GLASS WINDOWS IN OUR CHURCH

“Best Gift to Our Baby Jesus this Christmas”

There are nineteen windows on top wall of our Church (just turn around and look back, up the wall) that we want to beautify with stained glasses. It will cost a total of $40, 598 for procurement and instalment. We are now in 2018, how can we thank God for all His blessings and grace given to "me/you/us" and how can we, individually or as a family recommit ourselves to God’s guidance, protection and love? I have a suggestion for you. Why not think of paying for one stained glass window either in full or in part as your gift to “Our Baby Jesus” this Christmas and as a renewal of your commitment to God and his Church in thanksgiving to Him for all the blessings received in 2017 and for His continued protection in 2018? This indeed will be a wonderful and an awesome “birthday gift” to Him and a thoughtful recommitment gift of love to the Lord. See below this message the proposed 19 Stained Glass Window Images to be installed in our Church and their individual cost/price. This project can not materialize without your generous donation and support. If you want to be part of this awesome project (as I would very much encourage you to), please contact us on: 9341 3079; 93413131; 0417999553 or at:

[email protected]; [email protected]. See Below the Cost/Price for the Stained Grass Windows that have not yet been taken for sponsorship: The total cost for the “procurement and installation” of all the stained glass images in our Church is $40,598. Thank you for your generous support and donation as you think of keeping your names alive/immortalised in our Church. You will be remembered and prayed for every day during our Holy Eucharist Celebration even in your absence. Whenever people behold the beauty of our Church, they will continue to glorify God’s name through you (the donor/sponsor) for being God’s instrument of beauty to his people. I stand on the Word of God in 1King 19:14 to decree that in your generous donation/sponsorship of these stained glass windows, your pockets will never be emptied and your finances will never fail you as we continue to work together in God’s vineyard. Remember, whenever we sacrifice our resources to do unimaginable things for God and his Church, God in his turn will respond by doing unimaginable and amazing things in our life, in the life of your family, children, and grand children. It is well with you, and thank you immensely in anticipation for your generous heart and support. Shalom!

The Year of Youth will run until the end of November 2018. The Year of Youth coincides with the ten year anniversary

of World Youth Day 2008 in Sydney and the pilgrimage around Australia of the Cross of Christ and the Icon of our Lady.

This was an inspiring example of what can be achieved when the church community works in partnership with the power

of the Holy Spirit, holding up and empowering young people as a great gift.
